Chapter Twenty six

Helma smiled warmly at Mary and continued her chore. At breakfast, Donald had few bites as usual and left for work. Helma ran after him in her plain sky blue paints and white sleeve. Peter drove Donald and Helma to work unlike the previous week when they went to work in different cars. Helma held her abdomen and squeezed her hands from cramps. Donald would stare at her and look away when she tries to look back.

At the office, Helma took Donald his coffee and returned to her desk. She sent out mails to clients who had meetings with Donald on Thursday and Friday rescheduling the meeting for the other week. Her clock beep and she took some files along with her to the board room. Donald fixed a meeting with all the staff at the headquarters.
