It’s been four days since Silas and I last talked. He only comes around when it is necessary. I caught him staring at me, but he quickly looked away. I have no idea what I did. I thought everything was going well between us, but I guess I was wrong. I figure my being a hybrid is the problem. I saw his dad and mine talking the other day, but I have no idea what they talked about. I have barely eaten in the last four days. I hardly sleep, and I feel as if my heart is breaking.

“Princess you need to eat,” Dad says.
