Ash and I were so stuffed from lunch. We were just lazing about in our room for most of the afternoon. When the rankings were posted we went and looked. Of course I was ranked first and Ash second. Toni was ranked 3rd and then Tate was ranked 4th. I didn't look past that. At about 5 I started getting ready for Josh's gig. I tied my hair back in a tight bun. I wore a lace black choker, a white shirt with red splashes of paint and tight black skinny jeans. I wore my black converse with red roses I had painted on them. I wore some eyeliner and thick mascara. I decided to go even bolder and wore a matte burgundy lipstick. Burgundy was always a nice color on dad and I. "Well damn. I don't think I'm dressed right." Ash laughed looking at me. "Yeah, hold on. I'll fix you." I went to his room and looked through his closet. I found a pair of black jeans that weren't too baggy and a zooyork dark blue jacket. I paired it with some dark blue vans he had and gave him a silver chain to wear.

A full blooded siren. I had never met one before, but it explains why I feel so weird. Sirens mess with your head and your emotions and usually you're not even aware it's happening or that it has been done. A real mind fuck. I nodded my head and linked Ash letting him know. Toni let me embrace him for another couple minutes, before Ash and Rachel found us. They told us that everyone was going out to eat at the local pizza place. We all packed into Toni's car. Josh, Killian and Tris followed in Killian's jeep. Thankfully Dex drove his motorcycle home. 'You and Toni looked intimate.' Ash linked me. 'I want to let him in. I just don't know how much exactly.' I woke up on my bed in the pack house, not sure how I got here. Last thing I remember is being in Toni's car last night. My cheeks blushed a bit when I thought of his handsome face. I don't like that Ash and I don't have adjoining rooms here. In fact, he's across the hall. I washed my face and brushed my teeth really quick. I changed into some black joggers and a tight gray shirt, before stepping out into the hall. I knocked on Ash's door, but he didn't answer, which was odd. 'Where are you?' I linked him. 'Breakfast. Ash and I finished breakfast together and then had private training with Charles. Charles had both of us train in wolf form. He's trying to build Talia and my stamina. It's harder for me to fight in wolf form. There's a disconnection between the way I want to fight and the way she fights. We're not used to one another still. I'm glad I told all of them together about my mate. Dad understands too well what it's like to be judged by what you are and not who you are. I know he'll like Toni. My alarm sounded and I wanted to beat myself up for not going to bed sooner. Toni dropped me off at my room around 10, giving me a kiss goodnight. Ash and I had stayed up talking till around 1 in the morning talking about the date. He and I were both dragging our feet this morning. I haven't seen Charles or Eryn since yesterday evening before the date. I'm not sure what Charles is doing, probably avoiding me. He's the worst at apologies.I know I have training with Eryn after school today so he'll probably try to make it up to me in some way. Eryn always went out of his way when he wanted to make someone feel better. He's a good guy, just being king has put too much pressure on him. He's too stressed all the time and it's taking its toll on him. I can see it in the way he's changed.I got dressed and ready quickly, having hit snooze too many times. Science went by too quickly. I kind of wish Toni and I had more classes together. Toni was walking me to my art class even though his class was on the opposite side of the building. "Are you sure it's okay? You're going to be late." I asked him again, feeling guilty. "Yes I'm certain. I love walking with you. I'm taking every extra minute I can with you." He pulled at my hand turning me into him and giving me a quick hug, before turning me back around. It was so fast I almost didn't realize what happened. We got to the art room faster than either of us intended. He let go of my hand and I felt so empty all of a sudden. The more time I spend with him the lonelier I get when he's gone. "I'll meet you outside for lunch. I'll come sit with you." He smiled at me as he left down the hall. He looked back at me a couple times, catching me watching him. "Are you going to come in?"
