I need to speak with Damian, I need to speak with Damian I keep repeating this to myself. Maybe if I actually believe something good will happen. Could I really ask him to reject his mate for me? The rest of the week went by pretty quietly. Zach managed to bring breakfast over every morning and I made lunch and dinner. I have learned more about Zach and we talked and laughed together. Well, that was information over load I thought to myself. My head is just about to explode with this information. Ugh, I need a shower. Opening a random door, I first find a closet. It was massive. A size of a standard bedroom, clothes lined three walls with the fourth wall was shelves. Shoes of different styles filled the shelves and a large mirror stood in the corner. There was even a couch in the middle with a vanity beside it and a range of makeup on it. Shutting the door, I chose again and was rewarded with being correct to my relief. It was a huge bathroom with floor to ceiling white tile with a grey marbling through it, a steam shower that ran off a tablet on the wall. Waking up to birds chirping and a slight breeze hitting my face from the open window is probably the best way to wake up. I am not sure why I am worn out but I have been giving so much information, I am still trying to process it. We still have 7 hours left in our traveling to reach our destination. Dragging my feet, I make the trek to the shower. It was a basic shower, floor to ceiling black marble tile and a clear glass door. It was mid-day before we reached an area of the Smoky Mountains that we felt was the right place. There was a tiny town about an hour off the highway that was “homey”. The town rented cabins to tourist and since it was in the middle of the mountain side, they attracted a lot of them. We were fortunate enough to get on with two bedrooms for a week stay. We didn’t know how long we would stay here but they offered a discount so we took it and decided to stay. The cabin was built in the last ten years so it was pretty modern. It had a traditional wooden log theme covering every furniture with wolf, moose and bear animal decorative fabrics coating the couch, window curtains and throw pillows. After supper, we walked back to the cabin. Zach had a little more bounce to his step now and was excited to meet up with the girls.
