Chapter 16
Waking up to birds chirping and a slight breeze hitting my face from the open window is probably the best way to wake up. I am not sure why I am worn out but I have been giving so much information, I am still trying to process it. We still have 7 hours left in our traveling to reach our destination. Dragging my feet, I make the trek to the shower. It was a basic shower, floor to ceiling black marble tile and a clear glass door. The black tile ran the length of the bathroom and was paired with a white vanity with two sinks. Still, the bathroom was stalked with all the needed supplies a girl could want. I rummaged through the drawer till I found the shampoo and conditioner. It was mid-day before we reached an area of the Smoky Mountains that we felt was the right place. There was a tiny town about an hour off the highway that was “homey”. After supper, we walked back to the cabin. Zach had a little more bounce to his step now and was excited to meet up with the girls.
