Letter from the Empress Odessa Kestle

Dear Thetians

I hope everything is going well in your lives. This week's letter will surely be one of the most important I have had to write. A lot has happened lately, and I have had time to think about possible plans for the future of the empire and the ascension to the throne of my daughter Rilla. I plan to wait until she finishes her studies and having her agreement before transferring the power to her. As you know, her majority birthday is coming soon, and already she will have to make a speech and attempt to accomplish her first goal. As with all previous Empresses, she will have a limited amount of time to fulfil it.

On the morning of Friday, June 21, I chaired the Council of Kings and Queens to review the first part of the year and several points were discussed, but the most important one was the conflict between Youmor and Goston. I ordered the two Counties that they had until August to find a compromise and stop their war. If nothing is done after August, sanctions will be established. It is my duty to ensure the safety of my people, and this war, this conflict has gone on for far too long. I have been told that Goston is using chemical weapons such as poison gas on the people and on the army. The use of these weapons will be sanctioned, and the case has been given to the IBI (Imperial Bureau of Investigation) for further investigation. More information will arrive in the following weeks.

Then in the afternoon of the same day, I called a meeting of the Ministers of the Empire two weeks ahead of schedule. We discussed future laws and reforms in the Empire, school examinations, economics, and internal affairs. Regarding the DIAC and DIES exams, the dates of the results were changed due to a logistical problem. Some copies have just been distributed to the graders. Thus, the DIAC results will take place on Wednesday, June 26 at 10 a.m. and the DIES results on Thursday, June 27 at the same time. Therefore, the resits will be delayed. The DIAC 's ones will take place from Monday, July 1st to Wednesday, July 3rd and the results will be revealed on Saturday, July 6th. As for the DIES, resits will take place from Thursday July 4 to Saturday July 6 and the results will be revealed on Tuesday July 9. Each school will organize its remedial classes and is free to partner with other schools to facilitate the work of the teachers. As every year, retired volunteer teachers can participate in the resits if they obtain an authorization from the Ministry of Education. I hope that each student has given the best of himself and that he will get the result he wanted.

But that's not the only thing I wanted to share with you. On Monday, June 24 at 8:00 p.m., I will give an important speech that will be broadcast live throughout the Empire. In this speech, I will deal with a question that has always been circulating in our society, in our Empire: where do we come from? You will know, dear people, I will reveal it to you. I will take full responsibility for what will follow, I guarantee you, it is my duty. The Kestle family has fully honoured the desires of our Creator Thetia Kestle, and now it is time to fulfil her last wish before she passed away.

The debut of Venom, the new SkyLight Entertainment group

On June 22, 2019, SkyLight Entertainment debuted its brand-new men's group called Venom. Its 7 members are between 17 and 22 years old and they all participated to auditions between 2013 and 2017. It's now been two weeks since the teasers of each member have been released on Youtube, I*******m and on the agency's official website. The first member to be announced was Willis Snape, the oldest member of the group. He was followed by Felix Remmington, Blake Graham, Zachary Booth, Diego Lester, Jaxon Henry and Alex Kestle, the youngest member of the group at only 17 years old.

You are not dreaming, this group is composed of young talents, each one more promising than the other. For example Zachary Booth who had joined the Conservatory of Zorene and who later began a career as an actor and was able to play in several blockbusters. Or we can also mention Blake Graham, the younger brother of rapper Ted Graham from the mixed group Crimson from the same agency. These two were already known in the Underground rap scene for their rapping talent and were part of a rap crew in Greenchapel in the Kingdom of Nayah. Finally to finish Alex Kestle the youngest. You will have guessed it thanks to his surname. Indeed, he is the youngest of the Empress. As soon as he got out of his teaser, he announced on social networks that he wanted to be treated like all the other members of the group, and that his status of Imperial Prince would not be implied in his career. Nevertheless, according to Bruno Serre, a public relations specialist, "it will be very difficult for the media or even his fans to forget his status as a member of the Imperial Family, and this will obviously influence his popularity and the popularity of his band. Both positively and negatively".

Their first music video, Believer has reached 30 million views in 24 hours, breaking the record held by Desire's Oh My God. Their clip had accumulated 27.5 million views in 24 hours. That same day, we were able to discover their album Sinner and listen to all the tracks. According to William Davis, an art critic specializing in 21st century music, "this is an album that tells the story of a person in love but also wounded and struggling to break free from that love. I think a lot of people will recognize themselves. This album shows how alienating love can become, and Venom tells it very well".

Finally, our team was able to speak with SkyLight Director Pierce Hamilton. Here's what he told us: "Venom is the group that took us the most time to build. We've been on this project since 2016. We've organized a lot of auditions to find the rare gems, and to recruit outstanding trainees. But of course, we don't intend to stop there!"

Announcement of the 3rd album of the band Eternity from Grotto Entertainment Agency

For several weeks now, rumors have been circulating about the arrival of a third album for Grotto Entertainment girls' band Eternity. These rumors proved to be true, because two days ago, each member and the agency shared several publications on the networks referring to this album. The CEO Zara Monk also confirmed through a press release, the arrival of the album. Within a few days, we should see appear on social networks, the teasers of the members, as well as the teasers of the clip that will be produced. 

Remember, the last album of Eternity dates back to September 9, 2017. In the meantime, they have released two mini-albums, in 2018 had hit the charts. They started their activities the same year as the famous girl’s band from SkyLight Ent Desire. Very quickly, the fans of each group tended to say that these two groups were rivals. Nevertheless, the members of Desire and Eternity did not stop supporting each other at each project launch, and even developed a friendship. Let's hope this new album attracts even more fans!

Alexa Delaney aka C.A.B, the new rising rap star 

Let's talk now about a young new artist who debuted on Thursday, June 20th, C.A.B. of her real name Alexa Delaney.

She was born on February 26, 1998 in Kline, a town of 50,000 inhabitants in the North-West of the Kingdom of Uscar. From her early childhood, she was passionate about music and began at the age of 8 years singing, later on playing the piano and then, she began to compose and write her own songs at the beginning of college. Nevertheless, as time goes by, she loses interest in singing and focuses on rap. Very quickly, she will join an Underground rapper crew in her city. They will participate in many contests, and she will win a dozen of them, proving more and more her talent. But what made her stand out the most from the others is her strong character. Frank and confident, if someone criticizes her, her family or her friends, you can be sure that she will respond. Do you remember what happened at the U.R.C. (Underground Rappers Contest)? Tyler Holmes, an Underground rapper known as Lil Ty was in the semi-finals against Alexa. This last evoked the fact that one day, Alexa lied for serious facts and her mother was fired because of it. To defend herself, Alexa used her joker. She replied, "Yes, I lied, yes, my mother was fired, but dude, you're lying too, do I need remind you how your father died?" Lil Ty was unable to reply and lost the battle. The audience went wild. The violence of Alexa's line had gone around the hip-hop world, and Lil Ty never said anything to her again. She was the big winner with her Crew, and Wade Ayers, a great rapper from Kincardine in the Kingdom of Nayah, decided to offer her a contract with his label, Downtown Records.

Alexa describes her rap as "inappropriate for children and hung-up people". In fact, you could hear it in her very first rap " Dirt In Your P***y As* B!tch ", which is also the intro song of her first album. She doesn't hesitate to talk about sex, drugs and so on. It is besides this same title which was controversial. The public, finding it too vulgar, sent complaints to the rapper. The she replied, "If you find it too vulgar, don't listen to it. But know one thing, if you criticize it, it means you have listened to it. So, you made my views go up and I made money". 

We asked her what C.A.B. meant. Here's her answer, "Crazy As* B*tch. Why is that? Because everyone thinks I am, and they're not wrong".
