Chapter Nineteen: The Rescue.

Julian slowly opens his eyes, blinking hard as his head keeps pounding, he hisses from the pain.

He hears a couple of men argue about what should be requested for ransom.

“Caesar would pay any amount wanting him alive. I demand we ask for five million dollars”

“Five, if you asked for double. Caesar is definitely going to pay”, another says.

He hears their footsteps as they approach him.

One of them slapped Julian across the face.

“I'm going to need you to cooperate with us. We need to make a video of you asking your boyfriend for help and that's all”, the kidnapper said.

Julian doesn't reply but spits at him instead.

“You idiot”, he yelled at Julian.

Caesar was in his study, when his phone buzzed. He receives a video of Julian tied to a chair, bruised, bleeding and forced to say “help me”.

“Ten million dollars if you want him alive”, a text was attached. These kidnappers were requesting a ridiculous amount of money.
