Lucas was sitting in his office, when Annabelle made an appearance with few papers for him to sign.

Although he didn’t have to work a regular shifts he had been spending the most of the previous week in his office. He usually came earlier than most of the people working at his building and he only went home to sleep.

Ever since he left Jessica’s apartment he hadn’t been himself. When Emilio reported to  him that Jessica was only home the next morning he felt daggered in the chest.
