CHAPTER 33: Run To Me

"Shantelle." I looked at the person who called me and saw Baron.

"Why?" My eyes settled on the small plate in his hand. He approached me and handed me the plate that had a slice of dessert.

"Can you check this one for me? What do you think is missing?" Baron asked.

I reached for the plate and took a bite. I tilted my head and thought for a moment before I concluded.

The palatableness is quite alright, but I'm concerned about the sweetness.

Albeit it doesn't taste bad, I think that something is missing.

"How should I put this into words? I think maybe we should make a slight alteration in the ingredients. Just reduce the amount of sugar and instead add some cream. As for the design, it's adorable, though."

As I spoke, I looked intently at the desert.

"Let me write down the formulation that needs to be altered," I muttered.

I pulled out the pencil inserted in my hair just above my ear and immediately sat down in front of the table.
