CHAPTER 34: In His Arms Again

Glancing at the clock, I saw I was already ten minutes late. I hurriedly left my room and almost dashed outside since Gavin's location was a bit far away from my room.

When I went out, the sun had already set, and everything was dark, and only a few lights from the hotel and bar gave light to the night.

The stars were glistening in the sky, and they shone brightly upon us. I also saw many tourists who walked and roamed everywhere.

I almost reached our meeting place, but before I could go there, my phone rang, and when I glanced over it, the caller ID was Gavin.

Even though I could already see him, I still accepted his call. He didn't seem to notice that I was not far away from him.

He seemed bored waiting for me. His brows were tightly furrowed into a frown - obviously displeased.

I stopped in my tracks and spoke as I watched him. "Hello?"

"Where are you?" he asked in a tone full of irritation.

"I'm still in the hotel," I teased. His expression amused me.
