Chapter 98The car ride on the way to the doctor’s office was one of comfortable silence. Daniel held me close the entire time and I was so grateful for it. The next morning, I woke up much later than usual and Daniel had already left for work. I picked up my phone and found a text from Daniel, “Good morning, love. Sorry I had to leave early today. When we landed at the second helipad we were greeted with a gravel walking trail. When we reached the first building, Angela smiled, “This is a barn for horses.
