We spent the rest of the day talking and planning our next course of action. Daniel found my sketchbook and looked through it. He was impressed with my designs. He suggested, “I should call my buddies from college. They are the ones who can hook you up with almost any stone you want.”

I nodded in thought, “I would love that. Hopefully we can get this divorce done quickly. I’m trying to keep my stress levels down, so I am trying to just deal with one thing at a time. I sketch and plan the jewelry while I’m relaxing. The machinery that I will need for raw stones will be here later this week, then I will start making my jewelry. Maybe you should invite them here for dinner sometime this week?”

Daniel agreed, “I’ll call them. I know they are anxious to meet the woman I’ve been talking about since I met them in college.” I blushed, “I just hope they aren’t disappointed.” He shook his head, “No way. If anything, I may not have talked you up enough.”
