The next morning, I woke up extra early. I tried and failed to go back to sleep, so I got out of bed, took my shower, and dressed in a pair of sweats and a T-shirt until it was time to go to the other shop. I decided to make a pot of full-strength coffee, then sit on the couch and sketch some new jewelry designs. I was almost done with my first sketch of the day when my phone vibrated.

It was a text from an unknown number. I opened it and the person asked, “Do you know what your fiancé was doing Monday? He was with me.” I looked at the picture and it was time and date stamped for Monday, but the time was during my doctor’s appointment and he never left my side all day that day.

I just laughed as I looked at the picture and it was the back of a man with a similar build as Daniel’s, and hair the same color and style. The face of the woman was blurred out, but I’m sure Daniel might recognize her.

don't push yourself to hard to get a chapter out it's ok to take a day in-between posting the story is amazing (⁠✿⁠^⁠‿⁠^⁠)
