151. Pressure Like A Drip

LEO POV

The lady looked away as she could not catch my face through the tinted glass.

"There's an entrance at the warehose behind the company building. The route is longer but you'll be fine," I said, describing the direction to the driver. He rolled out of the crowd area and drove off the place I had mentioned.

After a few minutes, we arrived at the other entrance and parked at the garage. The office was disorganized when we stepped in. The employees hurried around the lobby when I appeared. I bet they all had rumors to tell about me but I cared less. I was snot going to let the company sink even if I had to go to extremes.

The board executives were seated when I arrived. Not one person was missing from the table. I sat down and Emily sat beside me while Jude stood behind me. I felt I didn't need moral support but I was not as strong as I thought. The present situation had weakened me and I needed as much support as I could get.
