I silently cried while watching the establishments, people, and cars become little as our plane climbed higher and higher. Mas ramdam ko na paalis na nga ako sa bansa na kinalakihan at iiwan ko ang puso ko doon.

Umiiyak.

Nasasaktan.

"Thank you..." I whispered when Blake handed me the tissue. I couldn't look him in the eyes. Nahihiya ako kung gaano ako ka vulnerable ngayon at kitang-kita niya iyon.

It's a relief that he didn't dare to ask me even if I cried like I was in pain. He was there for me, comforting me without saying anything. Panay ang hagod niya sa likod ko.

My head was spinning, and my stomach was churning. Nagsusuka ako sa lavatory. Halos yakapin ko ang lababo nila doon.

"Cassy, are you okay? I'll ask the cabin stewardess for medicine."

Hindi ko na nasagot si Blake dahil umahon ulit ang panibagong bugso nang pagduduwal sa akin. I washed my face after that, and looked at myself in the mirror. Mukha akong pinagbagsakan ng langit at lupa.
