Chapter 6.2

An entrance effect disturbed Mia’s attention to what Tom said. It was Taylor Reed! The guy who helped Trojan Virus won the PK. The leader of their guild.

‘What is he doing here?’ Mia asked herself.

He has no reason to be here. He only joined earlier because of the PK with her guild mate, so how come he found her live again?

“Taylor Reed.” Hindi niya namalayang napalakas ang pagkakasabi niya that even her viewers heard her.

[He’s the leader in Tom’s guild.]

“Ah.” It’s as if a bulb lit up above her head. “The one who sent an expensive gift to help his friend won.”

Tom, in his defense, commented. [I believe they are not friends. They’re just members in guild.]

“Really?”

Taylor Reed saw Tom’s comment and immediately sent a reply. [Yeah, he’s not my friend. We just met in that guild, and I’ve been helping him win because I don’t want a member of mine to look pathetic in front of others.]

Napakunot ng noo si Mia. Hindi niya alam kung jino-joke time lamang ba siya nitong si Taylor o seryoso ito sa sinasabi. “Totoo ba? Ang bait mo naman palang leader.”

Tom couldn’t bear to hear another praise for his guy friend. Sa sobrang anxious niyang makaganti sa sinabi nito ay natipa niya ang isa sa mga hindi naman talagang sikreto sa ibang tao.

Tom accidentally clicked the mic button sa sobrang taranta sa pagta-type. Nakita iyon ni Mia.

“May sasabihin ka ba, Tiny Avenger?”

She’s not good at conversing with other people especially with men unlike kapag mga babae na tila natural para sa kanya ang maging malambing.

This caused a ruckus in the chat. It triggered more of Mia’s curiosity. “Ginawa niyo ng chismisan ang live stream ko.”

[That’s the purpose of that.]

Mia agreed.

[Kung tama alala ko, ayon ba ‘yong sa babaeng nakipag-meet up siya?]

[Spill sa mga nakakaalam.]

[Iyon nga ata ‘yong sa babae!]

The chat was filled with jokes about Taylor’s stupidity dahil sa babae. Inaabangan ni Mia ang buong kwento nang nag-reply na si Taylor sa kanila.

[Taylor Reed: Really, I’m still here people.]

But they ignored him. Some dropped the truth about Taylor.

[Nakipag-meet up siya dati sa babae. The girl was also a famous host here. Lagi niya binibigyan ng mga gift.]

[Tanda ko ‘yan!]

[Saglit, hindi pa ako tapos.]

[He sent her gift, and then she asked to have a coffee date with him.]

[Sana ikaw na magkwento nang buo.]

“Kalma lang po, walang mag-aaway rito.”

She nodded her head slowly, absorbing the information she just got.

[Galante magregalo si Taylor, pero dahil doon sa babae, tumipid.]

[Sa mga ka-guild na lang niya siya gumagastos.]

[Tiny Avenger: Lalo na kay Tom. Baby girl niya kasi ‘yon.]

The next thing she sees were curses from Taylor, pissed from the teasing of Tiny Avenger.

[Tiny Avenger: Seriously speaking though, I don’t think that Dragon Clarinet needs to fool people just to gain some benefit.]

[Taylor Reed: Huwag mo isipin kapakanan ng iba. Isipin mo kapakanan mo.]

[Tiny Avenger: Forgive me, daddy, for I have sinned.]

Looking at the threat from Taylor, she felt that the two had a connection behind the screen despite Tiny Avenger’s account being a dummy. Kung ngayon lang nagkakilala ang mga ito ay hindi naman sana sila ganon magbiruan. And she couldn’t hold back her laughter from hose the latter handled it. Hindi niya akalain na malakas ito mang-asar.

She thought of it before she answered. “I don’t think so. I wanted my life virtually to be separated from my personal. I’m sure that’s also how others think.”

[Takot ka lang makita ng mga tao ns pangit ka talaga.]

Bago pa makasagot si Mia at ang iba ay naalis na ni Strawberry Lover ang nagsaad no’n. The lady almost forgot about her very first viewer. Mabuti at nakaantabay pa rin ito sa kanya.

“Shout out to my loyal viewer, Strawberry Lover!” She raised her hands as if cheering for him. “Thanks for supporting me and looking out for my live.”

[Strawberry Lover: You’re welcome.]

She winked at him through the camera. Sumandal ng pwesto si Mia sa sofa para mas maging komportable.

One of the watchers returned to the topic. [Tama lang na iwas ka sa mga meet up meet up na ‘yan. Delikado para sa mga babae. Akala nila basic lang kasi live lang gagawin saka interactions.]

Her curiosity intensified again because of what she read. “Why? Paanong delikado?”

“Tapos?”

[Tapos, itong isa niyang viewer, kakapadala sa kanya hindi lang ng gift sa Hub, kung hindi pati na rin sa bahay nila gaya ng pagkain at iba pang gamit, nakuha address niya.]

She didn’t realize she was holding her breath because she felt the story was going to something sinister. “And then?”

[Naisipan niyang puntahan ‘yong babae. Tapos nalaman niya, hindi naman pala talaga maganda at dalaga. Hulaan niyo anong nangyari.]

The readers swore at him for not being direct. [Ang daming alam!]

[Strawberry Lover, please kick mo na siya!]

[Hulaan niyo lang.]

[Sa iyo na lang ‘yang kwento mo.]

Mia bit unconsciously bit her nails, waiting for the continuation.

[Tapos ayon nga. Kaya niya nga pala sinadya kasi crush niya ‘yong babae, pero ni-reject siya. Pagdating niya ro’n, nalaman niyang nasa 40 plus na ‘yong babae. Nangibabaw galit niya kasi nauto siya kaya ang ginawa niya, sinaksak niya hanggang mamatay.]

Tuluyang nawalan ng kulay sa mukha ng dalaga. Nag-panic siya. Ang una niyang naisip, ibalik ang mga binigay sa kanya. “Baka may ganyan din sa inyo, isauli ko na lang mga regalo niyo sa akin.” Though she did not have the money, her safety was more important. She would not position herself in a spot that could bring her danger. “Lalo na sa iyo, Tiny Avenger. Huwag lang umabot sa point na gano’n.”

[Tiny Avenger: Hahahahahahaha.]

‘Stupid,’ Tom could tell himself. His infatuation for her would surely not reach to that point. If ever, he’d be the one doing a lot of stupidity, but he is certain he would never hurt her.

[Tiny Avenger: Your life is more important than any gifts.]
