Chapter 1957

Author: Master Yu Who Smokes
Philip glanced sideways at the anxious Martha and asked with a sneer, “Didn’t you refuse to go back with us? Why do you want to go with us now?”

Martha felt her cheeks burning with embarrassment. She looked at those customized Rolls-Royces and RV with uncontrollable envy and excitement.

These were all luxury cars. Would it not be awesome if she could sit in one?

“Oh, my dear son-in-law, I’m just old and muddled. I was blind and ignorant when I treated you badly in the past. Just forgive me this time. Wynn is very weak now and needs her mother to stay with her.”

Martha said boldly as she forced an ugly smile.

Philip frowned and snorted. He took a step forward and scared Martha into taking two steps back.

“With my strength, do you think I still need you to take care of Wynnie?” Philip asked coldly.

Martha’s eyes flickered at his words. She did not know what to say.

“Philip, I’m just—” Martha was just about to speak when Philip interrupted her coldly.

“Martha Yates, sinc

Philip lowered his eyes, coldly glanced at Martha who was trembling on the ground, and said grimly, “I hope you know what to do, and this is my last piece of advice to you. I’ll be taking Wynnie back. If you want to go with us, then take some practical actions!” After saying that, Philip walked around and away from Martha. At that moment, Martha was dumbfounded! Many thoughts crossed her mind as she thought about all the wrong things she had previously done. Was she really wrong? She did that all because she wanted Wynnie to have a good husband. Who knew that Philip had such a background and his family was so rich? Why did he conceal it for such a long time? Martha felt regretful. If she had treated him well like her son, perhaps the outcome would be different now. Suddenly, Martha got up and shouted at Philip who was walking toward the RV, “Philip!” Martha exhausted all her strength in this shout. Everyone heard her and turned around to look at her. Philip stood

Charles was anxious and hurried to Philip’s side, saying nervously, “Philip, why don’t you just forgive your mom? She has already admitted her mistakes. It should be enough.” Philip did not speak but glanced sideways at Charles coldly. Charles was taken aback and quickly lowered his head without speaking. Then, Philip glanced at Martha who was kneeling and knocking her head on the ground while slapping herself. He got into the RV without looking back. At this moment, Wynn was lying on the special care bed. The RV was extremely luxurious with a lot of space, adorned with diamonds everywhere. Just the furniture and equipment alone were estimated to be worth hundreds of millions! Two special postnatal nurses were inside. George had spent a lot of money to get them from abroad! At this moment, Wynn sat up on the bed with difficulty. She looked at Philip who walked in with a hint of pleading in her eyes and asked, “Why don't you let my mother come in? After all, she has raised m

Lydia also got into the RV with Mila in her arms, but as Wynn needed to recuperate, they were arranged to sit in the customized silver diamond-encrusted Rolls-Royce. In the RV, there were two postnatal care workers, a doctor, a nurse, Martha, Nelson Clarke in the incubator, and Wynn. Philip got down from the RV. Fulton had been standing by the door of the Rolls-Royce with gold-plated dragons. “Young Lord, it's almost time, we should depart,” Fulton said. Philip looked at the members of the Shadow Squadron behind him wearing black masks that concealed their appearance. Then, they left. The afterglow of the sunset covered the entire Uppercreek, especially the ten-mile-long street at the hospital entrance. It looked very magnificent and shocking! Black Mercedes vehicles with double headlights flashing were parked on both sides of the street! Many civilians gathered at the roadside with mobile phones in hand. How exciting! This spectacle was unheard of! A shout came f

All the civilian onlookers were shocked at this scene! Everyone wondered who these people were escorting. They looked like Jedi Knights as they were full of chills! The convoy slowly drove forward. All the black Mercedes vehicles parked by the roadside also followed the convoy closely, flashing double headlights the entire way. At the forefront, Philip who was sitting inside the golden dragon Rolls-Royce asked indifferently, “Did you bring Connor Clarke and the rest along?” George Thomas, who was sitting in the co-passenger seat, immediately turned his head with a respectful look on his face and said, “Yes, they’re in the back.” Philip nodded and looked out the window at the view. The street was full of people taking pictures with their phones. Meanwhile, Connor, Allen, and Levi were locked inside a black Mercedes that looked like a giant box at the back of the convoy. Levi leaned back on the seat, his head still wrapped in bandages. His face looked a little haggard.

Wynn thought about it for a while, frowned slightly, shook her head, and said, “No.” When Martha heard this, her eyes went taut as she said with a frown, “That’s weird. He’s so rich, but why did he hide it from us?” After saying that, Martha looked around, got up, and said to the two postnatal care nurses, “You two may go out first. I have some private affairs to discuss with my daughter.” The two nurses looked at each other, then at Wynn who was leaning against the head of the bed. “You may go out first,” Wynn said. “Yes, Madam.” After saying that, the two nurses left. After they left, Martha even made a point of closing the door. Then, she quickly turned around, sat back down again, and took Wynn's hand. She asked, “Wynnie, has Philip not given you anything all these years?” Wynn was taken aback and asked, “What things?” Martha was anxious and said, “Things like gold and silver jewelry, bank cards, or anything of that sort.” Wynn raised her eyebrows, a little conf

The wind blew sluggishly on the street. These dozen people were dressed in strange outfits and full of killing intent! Onlookers on both sides of the street took pictures with their phones and chattered incessantly. “Holy sh*t, is this a TV series or a movie? There are even killers?” “No wonder the appearance was so flashy. This crew has spent a lot of money!” “Awesome! I’ll definitely watch this show when it airs!” With the comments from onlookers, Fulton’s eyes grew colder. Looking at the dozen or so people in front of him, his eyes that were full of killing intent and a hint of disdain landed on Luca Mode. He said, “You’re not my opponent.” Hearing this, Luca laughed loudly and said, “People say that Battle God Hash is peerless and has amazing combat power. I have no other wish in this lifetime but to spar with you.” “If the result is death, do you still want to fight with me?” Fulton said indifferently. Although his tone was light, his domineering arrogance was in

Hiss! Everyone gasped aloud. This scene was too impactful! Had film-making reached this level nowadays? Were those special effects not supposed to be added post-production? Almost everyone had the same expression. It looked like these people had rushed up but soon fell to the ground while bleeding from their seven orifices. It was exactly like special effects added post-production. Click, click! All the flashes started. The unsuspecting onlookers even raised their arms and cheered, “Awesome! This is amazing! Where’s the director? What film is this? We’ll give our full support!” Back to Fulton. He lowered his eyebrows and glanced at an assailant by his feet. Judging from the black tattoo of a palace on his neck, he could determine their origins. Disciples from Country M. Hehe, the 12 Sacred Halls of the West had also taken action. Of course, this sudden attack also made Philip, who was sitting in the car, frown. It seemed that his journey back home would not be a

All of them were equipped with dragon sabers on their waists and plumes on their heads, their faces rigid and serious! Moreover, the person in the lead held a golden scroll high in his hand like a holy decree. The appearance of this group of people shocked the crowd so much that they dared not make a sound. Then, they knelt on the ground! Everyone along the ten-mile-long street just knelt like that! Worshipped by the people! Only the Imperial Preceptor! Swish! The man in the lead walked up to Fulton and stopped five meters away. He opened the golden scroll in his hand that was embroidered with gold dragons and said loudly, “By order of the Imperial Preceptor to all forces around, anyone who obstructs the convoy will be deemed as opposing the order and become an enemy of this country. Those who dare to breach the order will be executed!” At the announcement of the golden order, the entire scene fell silent! The kneeling crowd trembled at this moment. It was not from

“He lost his family when their enemies sought revenge while he was very young, so he's quite pitiful in a way.” Philip was not concerned about it. The life story of a loser had nothing to do with him. Moreover, Bryce was clearly up to no good. Getting to know him was a waste of time. “I found all the information he researched. To be honest, I’d think highly of him if he weren't up to no good.” Rabbit waved his paw smugly. He had looked through Bryce’s things and knew exactly what he had researched. Philip looked at a bottle of potion and could tell everything at a glance. “He’s a genius, indeed, but there’s no saving someone with bad intentions.” Philip shook his head helplessly. Bryce could only blame his bad luck for encountering them today. Carlos quickly took care of Bryce. There was no point in keeping such an evil villain. There was no need to be charitable in this situation. Adam looked at the room and sighed helplessly at Bryce’s unfortunate end. Although he had

Philip was curious about this situation. Since he could not get any information from the stubborn hooded man, he would find out indirectly. “That’s enough. Take him away. He has no value to us anyway. It's better to send him away.,” Philip said with disdain and did not take him seriously at all. The hooded man was shocked to hear that Philip was sending him away. He was nervous and afraid that Philip would do something to him. Although he was selfish and unreasonable, he was also a coward and afraid of death. Everyone sighed helplessly at his mournful wails. Adam closed his eyes, unwilling to get involved. Seeing this, Philip believed that Adam was unwilling to pay attention to his nephew, but he was still curious. If they were closely related, why would this guy's family sever all ties with Adam? It was advantageous to be on good terms with Adam. Not only would they receive guidance on practice, but they could also listen to his lectures from time to time. For example,

Philip and the old monk greeted each other happily as if they were old friends. Carlos was surprised to see Philip on such good terms with the high and mighty old monk. This was something he had never even dared to dream about. It was unbelievable that he could sit and drink happily with the old monk one day. “Let me introduce my friends.” Philip calmly introduced everyone around him, ignoring Carlos’ anxiety. Carlos stood up when he saw the old monk. “Hello, my name is Carlos. I admire you very much. I never thought that I'd be able to meet you one day. It’s my honor.” Carlos was happy and excited to get more perks than the guild leader. The old monk was quite friendly. After greeting Carlos with a smile, he looked at Philip curiously, wondering what he was up to. “I want to find out if you know someone.” After saying this, Philip asked Carlos to bring the hooded man out. The guy was tied up tightly and looked pitiful. More importantly, his clothes had been stripped off,

The hooded man woke up very soon, and he could not believe that Philip caught him. “What's going on? How did you catch me? This is impossible.” He was very confident in himself and knew that no one could catch him so easily, but reality had just proven him wrong. He had no choice but to believe it. “What's impossible? You underestimate me too much!” Rabbit snapped furiously. “What’s your name?” Philip stared at the man curiously. He had a feeling that this person was the same as the old monk. “Rabbit, call the old monk over. I want to speak to him. He may not know you, so you need to tell him who you are.” After interrogating this man, Philip wanted to speak to the old monk and find out his opinion about this hooded man. Since the two gave him the same feeling, they had to be connected somehow. Rabbit hopped over to find the old monk. He knew that the old monk was the best referral for this matter because he was very powerful and knowledgeable. The old monk was resting

On the other hand, Lincoln was shocked to find that Hogster was dead. Lincoln had been watching the situation and knew that Philip was a powerful person. Everything was most likely related to Philip. However, he never thought that Philip could make people stronger. He had heard of some special circumstances that could improve someone’s strength. He had roughly guessed the implications but never paid much attention to the matter. In his opinion, the Hexa Guild was already ruined. If he wanted to save the guild, he had to get rid of Alain and his people. Lincoln had lost trust in the guild. If he had not left his seclusion by chance, he would not have bothered about anything. “Forget it. Stop throwing your weight around. Since your son died a tragic death, I won’t make things difficult for you,” Carlos said in disdain. He knew what Alain had done, so he did not have a good impression of him. Although his remark sounded a little hurtful, it felt good to say it. The other guil

“What do we do with him?” Carlos asked. He wanted to skin the hooded man alive. Rabbit bared his teeth. “Kill him! Take off his clothes and hang him outside for everyone to see!” At this time, Alain finally noticed the commotion on this side. They were very noisy, so everyone kept looking over, trying to see what happened. Alain saw a familiar man lying on the ground. “What’s going on?” He walked over for a closer look and saw the hooded man! “What’s this? How could this happen?” Alain was dumbfounded. The onlookers had been watching, so they knew the situation. “What happened?” Alain asked in agony, wondering what happened. A kind onlooker explained, “Oh, don’t you know? That rabbit knocked the hooded man out!” Alain was taken aback by that remark. “How is that possible?” Alain was full of disbelief and thought someone had done something behind the scenes. Although he knew that the rabbit was powerful, he did not think it was strong enough to deal with the hooded

“You went too far! I’m well-respected wherever I go. How dare you treat me as a pet?” Although Rabbit had lost his memories after turning into an inanimate puppet, he could still deduce what had happened from Philip’s remarks. The hooded man was embarrassed to hear a rabbit reprimanding him. “If I can take you as my pet, that’s just a testament to my ability. If Philip couldn’t control you, what’s the big deal if I took you for my own?” The hooded man had always seen Rabbit as a pet, never a friend. Rabbit’s only purpose was to entertain him and fight for him. “Philip, leave this guy to me.” Rabbit was eager to take care of this guy. Carlos glared at the hooded man, certain that he had never seen him before. The hooded man also turned his attention to Carlos. From the match earlier, he knew that Carlos was from the Celestial Palace. In that case, he would have no reservations. He wanted to get to know someone from the Celestial Palace anyway. He ignored Philip and Rabbit

“What?” Carlos suddenly felt that maybe that rabbit in the hooded man's arms was Philip’s pet. “Stay here. I’ll take a closer look. I have a feeling that the guy is more than meets the eye. I think he was the one sneaking around my house.” After saying this, Philip walked over briskly. He had never seen such an arrogant thief. The guy was bold enough to appear in public after stealing someone’s rabbit. “Did you steal that rabbit from me?” Philip approached that man and asked solemnly without beating about the bush. The hooded man was taken aback by Philip's direct approach. “When did you appear behind me?” The hooded man was horrified to know that someone had snuck up behind him without his knowledge. It was as if Philip was immaterial. Feeling Philip's strength, the hooded man dared not say another word. He thought he was undefeatable, which was why he decided to watch the fun in person, but he got careless. “Are you saying that this rabbit belongs to you? Why don’t you

Jeff sneered at this scene and knew that it was time for payback. He did not plan to kill Hogster at first. After all, he was the young heir of a guild and represented the Hexa Guild. However, Hogster had pissed him off thoroughly. He had to kill Hogster at all costs. Thinking of this, Jeff raised the sword in his hand and stabbed Hogster. With that, everything was over. Alain closed his eyes at this scene. He shook his head in helpless agony. Due to the technique that he practiced, he could not have another child. Although he had been working hard to groom Hogster over the years, he had not stopped trying to get another child either. However, none of the women could get pregnant! Hogster was his only child so far. Unfortunately, his only son was dead. Under Jeff’s attack, he turned into dust and vanished without a trace! “How did things turn out this way?” Alain aged drastically all of a sudden and looked very haggard. The hooded man watched the scene warily, shocked
