Chapter 25: The Whole Truth

“Well, the Hunter’s Corps was the largest organization governed by 10 Vedic Knights, six of them being kings of allied nations. Till three years ago that is. We were attacked by Everlastings back then. With Hunter’s law being what it is they had to participate in the ‘Everlasting War’, and it wasn’t pretty. Thousands of our members were killed and many of them left us after the war.

“Not many people have joined us since then. All other branches of organization were also shutdown. Now, there is only two branches left excluding this main branch, of course. To make the matter worst, most of members are just c or d ranked. And they only joined because they had no other way to earn more money. Now a days, most people prefer to join mercenary guilds. Of course, mercenary guilds are controlled by Hunter’s Corps—the only difference is they do not have to serve in the war. Though the resources you receive will be much greater in the Hunter’s Corps.”
