Patrick Maddox held a terrible secret, a knowledge that put his life in danger. After King Victor Blackfrost died, he knew that he would be the next victim, so he pretended to be crazy to avoid the suspicion of the killer. Since then, the people of Blackfrost Kingdom knew him as Patrick the lunatic. 

Even in his false pretense, he still felt not safe, especially after the ‘omega treason’ event took place. He knew that it was orchestrated by the same person who killed the king. To protect himself and people that he loved, he persuaded his family to put him in the underground prison, where he felt safe because the prison was designed by Ethan Brownfur to detain Paltiti’s magicians during the war, twenty years ago. The prison had an invisible magic barrier that impenetrable by mages. 

However, he soon realiz
