Chapter 6

-Hazel-

The feeling of warmth and the sound of crackles was more than enough to pull me out if my unconscious state.

It takes a while for my vision to stabilize as the blurriness was all that I could see.

It takes a while but I am finally able to make out forms and appearances.

Beside me was a lit fire that was burning nicely.

I have no idea where I am. The last thing that I remember is running and running away from home.

There is no way that father could have caught me already.

I immediately lift my hands and see that I am not bound in any type of way.

I lay naked in the ground with some sort of animal skin covering me.

What happened to me?

I slowly sit up and place my head in my arms trying to remember the happenings that ked me to this place.

Well, just sitting here is not going to get me any answers.

I ignore the aches and slowly get up from the floor were I was laid.
