Chapter 28

　　The long sword in my hand fell to the ground with a loud clanging sound. I shook my head, and shouted incoherently, \"No, that’s impossible! It\'s not true! I don\'t believe it! I don\'t believe a word!\"

She said that I wasn’t Elisa Lin and that I wasn’t the daughter of the Lin family at all. She said that the real Elisa Lin was already dead.

She also said that not only she and Zach knew, but everyone in the Lin family knew about it.

If what she said was true, then how could the Lin family watch me live under Elisa Lin’s name for ten years? If what she said was true, then why did Eugene help me escape the palace regardless of the safety of the entire Lin family? If what she said was true, how could Zach keep an impostor safe and sound by his side for seven years?

If what she said was true... then who am I?

Suddenly, my head began to hurt as distorted memories quickly flashed in my mind. I wanted to catch it but I couldn’t.
