"Just two more boxes to go and then we will be done," Kris declared, huffing.
"Books," I muttered, writing it down on a huge box. "How the hell do you have so many books?"
"How the hell do you have so many clothes?" Kris smirked, handing me a steaming mug of coffee.
"Point taken," I laughed.
For the past three days, Kris and I had been busy packing our stuff up. Kris moves in on Saturday while I move in with Liam on Sunday after attending the exhibit so that I can be with him on his birthday which was the next day.
"What would you like for lunch?" Kris demanded, scrolling through the takeout menus.
"Indian?" I suggested.
Hello dear readers! Here's the next update. I am so sorry...I almost forgot to post two chapters last time. It's a bit crazy these days. But I do hope you like the updates. And thank you so much for all your support :)

"Bowtie suits you, Mr. McKinnon," "I can't wait to get rid of it," He winked, making me blush. "I can't believe you're going to live with me from now on," "Well, I am...so suck it up," I laughed. "So tell me, what can we expect from this event?" "Lots of people from the art world for sure," He said. "Just the pl
Liam When you love someone you just know them. Like not just who they are as a person but everything...every minute details about them. How they smile, how they react to something...you just know them...no logic no reasons. I knew Sofia just the same. As I stood in the elevator with her, I knew she was definitely up to something. There was a weird aura of excitement and nervousness around her and I could feel it. "What are you up to?" I demanded, raising a brow. "Nothing," She replied. She was a terrible liar. "Okay," I said, not at all believing her. The elevator door opened at my penthouse and Sofia jumped out before me, looking as if she might burst with excitement.
Sunshine streamed into my room waking me up. Beside me, Sofia was curled up against my chest looking beautiful as usual. Her naked body was wrapped around mine and at the moment it felt like the most natural thing of my life. We fit in together perfectly. Turning, I perched up on my elbows and stared at her. Her lips were slightly swollen and that made me smile. Last night was... undescribable. Sofia was a sensual creature and the picture of her on top, her mouth slack and eyes closed as she took me in, made me uncomfortable at the moment. But I refused the urge to wake her up and just watched her sleep instead. This I can get used to. "Good morning, birthday boy," Sofia greeted, standing at the threshold of my study. "Morning beautiful," I smiled. "Up already?"
Sofia My mouth went dry as Liam sauntered towards me, his lips pressed in a hard line. He was pissed and I had a faint idea why. I was in trouble....no doubt about that! "Ladies, can I steal my girl for a moment?" He said, flashing his panty-dropping smile which was totally unnecessary in the present company. "She's all yours." Hannah giggled and I shot her a look. No, please... "Come on baby," He hissed sweetly, grabbing my arm. "WE need to talk!" He dragged me inside and straight upstairs, opening a door on the left side of the landing. Shoving me inside, he narrowed his eyes at me and I tried hard to rema
I stifled a yawn as I shuffled through the brochures that just came in freshly after printing for the exhibit next month. Last night, Liam told me he has never watchedPretty Womanand that I felt was outrageously insulting. So I got the DVD and made him watch it and just like everyone else it took no time for him to fall in love withVivienne Ward.Julia Roberts had her style. There was a different charm about movies made in the '90s and once you start watching there was no turning back. And we didn't. After Pretty Woman, Liam insisted on Notting hill but I wanted to watch The Crush. By the time it was three in the morning, we have watched both our choices along with My Best Friend's Weddin
Liam "Do me a favor," Sean grimaced as we walked out of our conference room. "Don't drag me into these ghastly boring board meetings, please. I beg you," "Sean, you're a shareholder. You need to attend these meetings. Don't you wanna know what's happening with your investment?" I muttered. "I know what's happening to my investment," He replied. "As long as they are with you, they are being used most profitably. I know that," "Don't trust anybody that much," I said with disdain and he shrugged. "You're not anybody. You're family," He replied, hassling me with his shoulder. "Jeez!" I rolled my eyes. "How's the new place coming out i
Sofia My eyes felt like someone has tied heavy stones to them as I struggled to open them. My head felt heavy and there was a funny smell lingering in my nostrils. I blinked twice... thrice in a vain attempt to push away the heaviness but it was just useless. I felt sleepy like I haven't slept in ages and automatically my eyes shut down again making everything go dark. It was too bright and warm... I felt droplets of sweat dripping down my back and my mouth felt slack. "Water," I
I was feeling pissed. It was late in the afternoon and after my failed attempt to make Neil realize he was better than the douchebag he pretends to be, he has stopped talking completely. It was hot and humid and I was sitting in the same position in the same place for God knows how long. I felt grimy, stiff, and angry. I glanced out of the little window and all I could see was trees. Huge trees for as long as I was allowed to see. Outside, I could hear laughing and cursing, the smell of cigarettes and alcohol. And to think Neil is the son of Ryan Mckinnon...Ideally, I closed my eyes and began to picture Liam's face in my head. My family...what were they doing? Do they know? Sean...Hannah...Kris... what were they doing right now?"Sleeping already?" Neil's familiar voice distracted me.
