The moment Edwin rode into the Dark Moon Pack's territory, Vanessa had been alerted by the bell which announced his arrival.

She ran all the way outside the alpha's residence, her arms were folded. Her foot was tapping on the stone pathway. Her hair was perfect, her cloak spotless, but her eyes burned with frustration.

In no time, Edwin finally reached the alpha's quarters, greeted by every pack member he passed by, and by the maids and guards that worked on the alpha's quarters.
