Chapter 24

Mira tried to glean at the person's face. However, she didn't manage to find his identity. His face was shrouded in a thin grey mist as if he had intentionally used a spell to cover it.

With narrowed eyes, Mira assessed her situation. She needed to get those things out of her pocket and threw them at him. Those things that she unwittingly found in an abandoned mage's dwelling were fatal for him. Mira had deduced so because of his current body. She needed to make sure that she'd hit right into the target.

The roughness of his voice caused her to feel somehow disappointed. She hadn't recognized it at all. He was probably being cautious enough to hide his traits that could leak his identity. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to continue to mingle among werewolves.

The sight before Mira abruptly changed as crackling sound ensued. A massive claw of a wolf hurtled toward her. Mira's pupils shrunk as an incredulous expression flashed across her face.
