Chapter 55

[55. Dorm Room]

Phet knocked on the door of dorm room no 112 and waited for the door to open. The sound of a chair scraping against the floor was heard.

" Dad..put that suitcase down.", he said to his Dad who was standing beside him still carrying his suitcase. Phet's Dad, Mr Ritthirong nodded and placed the heavy suitcase down.

It was Sunday evening 6 pm. Phet and his Dad had started from their home to the university after lunch. They had just went to the hostel office and collected Phet's room key from the warden.

The warden, an elderly man between 45 and 50 seemed strict and rather cold. He first of all described the rules of hostel and food timings. He emphasized that students should sleep in their own dorms and shouldn't go to other dorms and stay awake watching movie or playing games together. He had told that Phet's roommate had already arrived. That's why Phet knocked on the door.
