CHAPTER 36

Grayson pulled out his phone from his pocket when he heard it rang in the late afternoon. He saw Nathan on the screen calling and he slid his thumb to answer.

“Nathan,” he stated. “What’s up?”

“Where the f8ck are you?!” Nathan yelled at the other line angrily. “I’ve been calling you for the past two hours!”

Grayson frowned at Nathan’s tone as he stood up when Thomas informed him that he can now board his private plan after refueling has been completed.

“What the hell’s going on?” He demanded in return.

“There was an accident!” Nathan said hardly. “That’s what’s going on!”

Cold dread filled Grayson and his mind immediately travelled to Maya, already not hearing whatever Nathan is saying to him over the phone. He stuffed his phone back in his pocket and urgently boarded his plane, ordering the pilot to take off immediately.
