Chapter 899

Shaun couldn't believe that Madeline wanted to stick with the Halsey and ditch him. He paused from washing the dishes, wondering if he was even her real brother.

Then, he glanced at Madeline. "What if I didn't do anything wrong? What if Halsey's the one who messed up?"

"No way! She's always right!" Madeline insisted.

Shaun could only laugh dryly. He finally understood that Madeline was totally biased.

"Just hurry up and win Halsey back, or else!"

With that, Madeline turned and went back to her room.

Shaun looked down at the dish in his hand, completely speechless.

Halsey stayed with Madeline for the rest of the day. While Madeline worked on a research diagram, Halsey focused on her fashion designs. She listened carefully to the sounds outside.
