I think I've been reading intralled inthis book waiting for the lovers to finally end up together now its starting to feel like a soap opera that will never have a happy ending why so the writer will make more money,? I've enjoyed this novel until I started to feel it will never end or end badly

There isn't any consistency in the character of Avery. She's portrayed as a strong, smart, and independent woman, but then she fell for Asher's lies every time. I understand that sometimes life is that cruel where nothing goes your way, but there needs to be some consistency in a person's character
