Gabriel POV
I get into my car and I start driving to the Bronx. I don’t know what got into me. I just want another kiss and if I need to drive there to have it I will.
The music is blasting through the radio while I drive and I can’t shake the feeling that there’s something wrong. I don’t know what but there’s something wrong.
I park the car in front of her building and I ring the bell.
“Who’s this?” - I hear a man’s voice and I tightened my hands into fists.
“I’m looking for River” - I say
“She doesn’t live here anymore, she lives two floors up” - the guy says and I take a deep breath.
