River POV

I wake up and I look around trying to figure out where I am and I see Gabe sleeping with his arm across my stomach. Slowly I love his arm and I sit on the bed. God. He is so beautiful and he looks like an angel sleeping. Maybe that’s why his name is Gabriel. As in Angel Gabriel.

I pass my hand lightly through his hair and I get up grabbing the t-shirt he had given me yesterday and I put my shoes on.

I call a Uber and I walk out of his apartment. When I look back I smile remembering last night. But I know he just wanted to have sex with me. I didn’t want to be in the position of him telling me to leave. I would be too embarrassed.
