River POV
It’s been a while since I moved away from New York. I have now my own studio apartment. I got a really good deal. Elliot is the owner of the building so he made me a really good deal.
I know I didn’t like him when I saw him but he’s not a bad guy. He’s caring and he takes care of his grandparents.
We have been going to the cinema and coffee. We are not dating or anything like it. We are just friends. I miss Gabe with all my heart. I keep thinking I made a big mistake leaving. But I am only now recovering.
I have forgiven his betrayal. I know he didn’t mean for that to happen. He loves me and I know that.
That girl on the tape was taking advantage of him. I hope he is okay.
