The whispers grew louder and louder, till a voice came.

“Enough!”

The whole room went dead silent.

And then, from the crowd, a woman stepped foward. She graced the floor elegantly… dressed in a black dress.

She looked young, of course older than me, but not by much.

“Hey… I’m Mira Cardwell.”

She extended a hand to me. “I’m assigned as your personal assistant.”
