LOGINEllia Mayfield spent seventeen years believing she was ordinary…an orphan raised by her aunt, trying to survive school, dodge bullies, and ignore her hopeless crush. Until the day everything changed. On her eighteenth birthday, Ellia learns the first shocking truth: her late mother wasn’t just wealthy—she was the founder of one of the most powerful corporate empires in the human world, and Ellia is the sole heir to her fortune. Before she can process that revelation, she was attacked. Then comes the second truth. Her father wasn’t human. He was the lost heir to the Alpha throne. Kidnapped into a hidden werewolf kingdom she never knew existed, Ellia is thrust into a brutal world where power is law, weakness is despised, and her very existence is seen as an insult. Half-human. Half-werewolf and very much unwanted… To the wolves, she is an abomination unworthy of the throne. To the lurking sharks in the human world, her disappearance is the perfect chance to seize her mother’s empire. Caught between two legacies, Ellia faces an impossible choice: Fight for her mother’s empire. Or claim her father’s throne. But the greatest complication isn’t the throne… or the company. It’s him. Cassien Kirstof… A cold, ruthless person. The strongest Alpha in the kingdom. And the one man destined to challenge her claim. Her mate. As secrets about her parents’ deaths begin to surface, Ellia realizes their deaths were no accident— Now, with war brewing between humans and werewolves, Ellia must embrace the power in her blood before everything her parents built is destroyed. So the simple truth is this— …she was never meant to inherit one empire. She was born to rule both.

The sharp sound of my alarm dragged me out of sleep.
I groaned and slapped a hand across my nightstand until my fingers found my phone.
7:30 a.m.
That was far too early for any human being to be awake.
I rolled onto my back and stared at the ceiling. "Five more minutes won’t hurt anyone, right…," I muttered.
My phone immediately buzzed before I could shut my eyes—
I instinctively reached my phone and glanced at the message.
Lena: Get up.
Of course it’s her…
Lena: I know you're awake. You can’t be late in your first day of the new semester
That I couldn’t argue…being late on first day was…let’s say not advisable.
I managed to type a message despite the sleep in my eyes.
You're a terrible friend.
Lena: Yet somehow your only friend.
Me: Ouch.
Lena: the truth hurts girl.
I guess it did….
I dragged myself out of bed and headed toward the bathroom.
Twenty-five minutes later, I was rushing downstairs with a piece of toast hanging from my mouth.
Aunt Hilda sat by the diner, then looked up from her coffee mug to face me.
"Running late?"
I pointed at the toast by the table.. "Clearly..aunt.”
She let out a sharp laugh.
"Well, luckily for you…I packed your lunch."
"Oh! You’re the best Aunt Hilda!”
A proud smile formed on her lips then. "I know."
I kissed her cheek before grabbing my bag.
"Love you!"
"Love you too, Ellia! And be safe!”
I was already out the door as the bright sun hit me.
“Shit! Shit! First day of the new semester and I was already running late!”
I dashed through the narrow street walk, weaving past the crowds around me with ease…
A surge of wind followed behind me as I ran…my speed atleast ten times faster than others—
Incase you’re wondering…I’m Ellia Magfield. I don’t remember much of my child hood or my parents—all I know is that when I turned fifteen, I somehow got special abilities that made me much faster and stronger than people my age.
Aunt Hilda promised I kept it a secret, and never use it in public…
But today—was an exception.
I arrived at the campus grounds with barely a minute to spare before the general assembly.
Things were normal… like how a college should be, atleast for a couple of minutes before I saw him—
Ethan Hayes…
Of course.
I swear!.. the universe apparently enjoyed tormenting me.
He was standing near the front entrance with a group of friends, laughing about something.
He had dark hair and hazel eyes…a nice status. Gosh…he looked like someone dreamt up from a fantasy novel.
"Stop staring." A sharp voice cut me off from my Ethan haze—
My pulse spiked up before Lena appeared beside me.
"Jesus."
She grinned so wide that I could almost count the whole set of her teeths
"I caught you."
"I wasn't staring." I rolled my eyes sharply.
"You absolutely were."
"No..” I cut her off, trying to form a lie. “I was just…I was observing."
"Like a scientist?"
"Exactly."
"Interesting. And what scientific discovery have you made?"
I sighed dramatically in defeat. “Fine…you caught me.”
“I always do.” She wore that smirk I hated so much!
For a moment, everything felt normal, then…a voice sliced through the air.
"Look who it is."
My stomach sank.
Don't turn around.
Don't turn around.
Don't—
I turned around as three girls approached us.
At the front was Brianna Carter.
Beautiful.
Popular.
Rich. The prefect girlfriend…
And somehow determined to make my life miserable and behind her were her two shadows.
Madison and Chloe.
The trio of nightmares.
Brianna's gaze swept over me.
"What happened to your hair?"
I blinked.
"My hair?"
"Yeah."
She tilted her head.
"It looks... cheap."
Lena immediately stepped forward. "Good morning to you too."
Brianna ignored her with her eyes remaining fixed on me.
"I guess some people can't afford decent products."
The girls behind her giggled.
I fought the punch her across the jaw and send her flying–I couldn’t exactly how many times I’ve wanted to do that.
I forced myself to remain calm, then spoke. "Was that your best one?"
Her smile faded, just a little… "What?"
"The insult.” I shrugged it off so casually that it eveh surprised me. "It needs work."
Lena giggled a little, but the girls didn’t find it as funny.
Brianna herself stared at me for a moment, then she smiled coldly.
"You know, Ethan likes confident girls."
My face heated up instantly.
Damn it. I hated my body!
Her smile widened when she caught it… "Oh."
Then she let out a sharp laugh. "So you do like him."
Shit! Shit!
I wanted the ground to open and swallow me whole right now...
Brianna looked delighted right then, her grin so hard…
"Ethan would never go for someone like you."
Someone like me?!
I felt something sharp jab right through into my chest…
It wasn’t because I believed her.
Okay.
Maybe a little because I believed her.
“I—“
Before I could respond, the morning bell rang for the assembly.
Brianna smirked. "See you around, orphan."
Orphan…
The word hit harder than it should have.
It always did.
For a second, something flashed through me.
A sharp burst of anger.
It was sudden and intense—like I was about to let it all out…
But I forced myself not to and the feeling vanished just as quickly.
Brianna turned and walked away with her followers.
Lena immediately faced me.
"You okay?"
I forced a smile, that dudjr reach my eyes. "Of course."
"Ellia—“
"I'm fine." I cut her off.
She didn't look convinced, I meant, not like I expected her to be.
But the last thing I wanted was to talk about it..
I counted the minutes till the final bell was rung before I dashed out of my room!
Tommorow was my eighteenth birthday and as tradition, the day before my birdthday..Aunt Hilda always baked my favorite cupcakes.
I could already taste them when I stepped out into a mirror, then—
A sheep commotion from a distance away caught my attention. That was a sound I shouldn’t have been able to hear..but somehow I did.
“Arghh!!”
I heard a woman’s voice, hee tone laced in panic.
I didn’t think, I just moved—
My legs carried me across the pavement so fast…and in half a second, I was in the middle of the road…
I was things slower now—
A woman lying helplessly on the floor and a car just inches away from hitting her.
I picked her up and ran to the other side of the room…and just like that everything was fine.
Almost everything…
When the chaos cleared off, the eyes of the crowd locked on me..even the woman was shocked wondering how I pulled her out.
Oh no…
This was bad! Very bad!
I zoomed off in a flash…leaving only dust in my wake—
Third Person POV
A man dressed in a well fitted suit sat comfortably in a car. The exact car that almost hit that lady.
For a beat… he observed the chaos behind him, then he smiled coldly.
Then he pulled out his phone—
“I’ve seen her…” his tone was clipped. “After eighteen long years…the daughter of the Alpha has been discovered.”
Then a voice came from the other end.
“Bring her home..”
Cassien POVThe palace was alive and active the moment I made the announcement.Everyone knew Erevos and what he was capable of…they didn’t need extra motivation for this one.Warriors sprinted between barracks carrying bundles of arrows, servants were carrying crates toward the infirmary.Mothers were taking their children inside…I walked through the yard now, observing all of this.Soon, Reis, my Beta, he caught up beside me. “Morning Alpha.”"The report," I said. sharply."Three scouts confirmed the sighting now.”"So he’s coming..what’s the army size?""They couldn't tell." He replied, his tone clipped."Couldn't..."I stopped walking and faced him. "They couldn't tell?"Reis nodded grimly. "They only saw one figure."I stared at him. "One?""Yes.” “Our scouts are certain.""That's impossible."
Cassien POVI didn’t know much of what happened… but the moment Ellia kissed me, the moment I woke up—I just felt like a completely different person…My movements were quicker, more lively and energetic. I felt even more alive than before.Meanwhile, my pack, the Northern region, is as calming as it has been for a while. With me back, seeing me around this past week has reassured most of them.KNOCK!A sharp knock came at my chamber door.“Yes?”Lady Selene stepped in now, looking regal…elegant.“Good morning Alpha.”I stood up slowly and turned to her. “Good morning..”“The Council—““They want to see me
Ellia POVWe didn’t really talk about the vision I saw much..Cassien laid it off as a scare. His soul might be dead, but he could still harvest his thoughts into others…He told me to wave it off that Erevos is dead and never coming back..I mean, all logic and reasoning pointed to that as well. I didn’t die, the sanctuary was never opened; so how was he back.He couldn’t have been…and yet, that feeling he was still lingered.I was at the office now…I’ve more the past week here more than at the werewolf world. If I wanted to take down Anna, then I needed to learn the basics first.Staring at so much paper in my office made me consider letting her take over.“Busy?” A voice snapped me outI looked up and saw her…Anna. Of course.“What are you doing here?” I asked sharply. She took a seat across my desk. “Believe it or n
Ellia POVThe apartment felf so awkward now. Or atleast, that was a way of putting it…The air was thick with so many unspoken words—We gathered around the dining table, watching someone who had been dead ten minutes ago biting his way through the crustiest of beef…Aunt Hilda and Esther stared him like a ghost, though I could feel some occasional glances at me too…Of course when he came back, my first reaction was pure relief…but when emotions give way for reasoning..I couldn’t wrap my head around the hell he was alive—Was it me?! The kiss we shared…? Because after it he began glowing…“Ellia…” aunt Hilda stood up, Esther as well. “Can we talk for a sec?”I glanced at Cassien who was still focused on the food in front of him

Ellia POV“A blood baptism!”The words still rang in my ears for a while after–Then the yard went dead quiet, every eye locked on me now…awaiting my reponse.“No!!” The words tore right out of me before I could stop it.“No!”Slowly, the murmurs began to stirr up again…I turned to face then now ag
Ellia POV“Mate!”The word echoed in my head like a curse as the God like figure stepped into the room.He felt it too…I saw it. The tension coursing through him—But what the hell was it?“Ellia..” the voice of Selene seemed to drag me right out of the haze I was in…I snapped my head to her at on
Ellia POV“No.. no! No..”That shouldn’t have happened…All I had to do was ignore it. Just mind my business, but—But that was the real issue…whatever abilities I had—whatever was wrong with me..it can’t change my nature.I saw a lady in need of help…and I acted. And if I had another chance to mak
