Chapter 35: David's Plan

"Okay, let's go to my house now. I'm not sure if you live alone in your house," Valentino said.

"It's up to you," Agusta replied and he got into Valentino's car.

Agusta lived alone and he too had just been abandoned by his girlfriend because he was too busy. When in fact they were engaged and would soon get married, but because the lover protested his busy work, their relationship finally foundered.

So if he lived with his best friend it wouldn't be a problem. Agusta's parents live outside the city and for that he was very grateful that his parents would not be involved in the problem.

"Yes. Even in the parking lot I already suspected someone was following me. Are they really David's men?" Agusta asked.

"Of course. Who else but that jerk? But what I wonder why he can be rash like that? If he's smart he won't follow you at the office. He should have just attacked you at home. It would be safer," Valentino said.
