Chapter Twenty Four

At the Brown's residence, Mr Brown stares at Paul Black with a cold frown on his face,

" What do you want?" He asked, he had never expected that Paul would ever take his men and besiege his residence.

In a firm voice, Paul said, " Mayor, I am sorry but I am under orders. My higher-up has ordered us to bring your daughter back to the police station, don't give me a hard time, okay."

Ana quickly her patience and with a snort, she said, " Bring me back? Is this a joke or you are just plain stupid? Are you tired of acting as the chief? Do you want to be fired?"

" This is the order from the high up," He said apologetically to her, " I can't do anything about it," He looked at David and signal to him. " David, take Miss Ana Brown into custody,"

" Yeah! yeah! David nodded and step forward. With a clang, he locked a pair of cold handcuffs over Ana's wrist and then said, " Miss Brown, please step this way,"
