Guardian Shelliot had left the Northern Kingdom. I was a bit anxious about her return. She had promised to retrieve information about my Kingdom. I was sure Mother and Father were handling the threat. It still did not stop me from worrying. Not only was I a daughter, but I was also the crown princess to thousands of merfolks. It was my duty to worry about my people. 

Even so, there was nothing other than worrying to do. When Guardian left, the prince went out the door behind her. He was relieved Guardian Shelliot had a friend who was willing to spend their free time with me. To say I was disappointed was under describing my feelings. The prince and I were not the best of friends, but we had come to an understanding. That was what I thought. 

After the incident with Prince Mitchalus, it took me a while to think about the situation from another perspective. Prince Marvelon had not known about my matching. No one outside our kingdom
