"YOU LAID WITH HER BEHIND MY BACK AND MADE HER PREGNANT, JAYSON?"

Hattiea shouted at Jayson's face this time pushing him away from her harshly.

While he stumbled back in pure shock, never before she shouted at him.

As she was always the woman who put him first in everything, she loved him so much to the extend that she sacrificed her own wishes.

Guess that's what betrayal caused her.

Hattiea then started taking long breaths while crying out loud while looking at the other person, Tiara.

The woman who caressed her belly while blankly staring at her crying in misery, maybe that's what she wanted.

Tiara was having the baby of her fiancé, she would now demand the rights as a partner not as a mistress anymore and that was why she was here to claim her rights.

Hattiea still teared up in betrayal meanwhile looking at her, Jayson then decided to approach her yet again.

"Baby i-it was a mistake."

He spelled out with his broken voice, suppressing his sobs in the lump being stuck on his throat.

"I-i swear I didn't mean to do it. I-i was just stressed out that night, I wanted you and you were not ready to give yourself to m-me. I-i was drunk and she-...."

Jayson started giving his reasons for what he had done while shuttering and taking his desperate steps towards Hattiea yet again.

But she was just reacting out of rage building inside of her, she could not take any reason for this situation.

Cheating is a choice, obviously and no reasons is acceptable for that.

Before he could have touched her again, she slapped his face tightly making his cheek turn right from the effect. The action was so hard that even Hattiea's palm started burning in hurt.

His each and every word stabbed her heart while hurting her love for him.

'Were not ready to give yourself to me?' That's all he had to say about cheating on her?

Such a bastard.

He decided to cheat just because Hattiea didn't choose to sleep with him?

"YOU FUCKING CHEATED AND STILL HAVE REASONS FOR IT?"

Hattiea shouted at his face in disgust the scans minute.

Jayson again faced Hattiea almost immediately after hearing her out, caring not a bit about any other thing anymore this time his actions became more desperate and aggressive.

Violent to be exact.

He wildly pulled Hattiea towards him and wrapped her around his arms while trying to get close to her.

His eyes were still red like before but now... those had a hint of madness hidden behind.

Hattiea tried to jerk him away like a crazy woman but the grip only tightened more every seconds, aching her in his forced embrace which only caused her pain.

She repeatedly punched his chest in anger and continued crying in utter disgust because of him.

He was someone, who cheated just for this pathetic thing?' Hattiea never thought Jayson was that kind of man to betray her at last,

She was heartbroken.

She was devastated and wanted to get him away from him in every possible way now.

Hattiea still remembered, deciding to get married with Jayson first then starting a family of their own was their mutual choice. Both agreed on it and he never once mentioned anything about this to her as well.

Jayson wanted to work and then settled down, Hattiea wanted to take things slowly between them as well.

Jayson always seemed to be okay with her reasons as Hattiea stated well how conservative her thoughts were regarding getting intimate before marriage, she was never the woman to give herself up without any commitment of life.

She felt those relationships wrong.

Hence, that was the only reason why they both preferred to get engaged first rather than staying in a relationship.

Hattiea felt so betrayed at the moment.

Obviously she gave her all to him and only to get cheated on at last, she felt being played by him.

She doesn't deserve this, not at all after what she had for him all this long.

Also, now that she wondered why Jayson was being so distant lately with her. It was all because he was busy cheating behind her back all this time.

And when he felt he was doing wrong, he started acting guilty and always brought up marriage to her.

He did all that to avoid getting caught by her.

Hattiea understood everything clearly now.

She squirmed around in his cage of arms to get away from him but it was only getting impossible because how desperate Jayson became for her.

He was scared to lose her, he was terrified.

"B-babe don't. I love you, you are the only one I want!"

He kept on mumbling those words like a mantra on repeat as Hattiea only felt anger building inside of her towards all of his attempts to keep her close to him.

At this point she started hating his touches.

"You still dare to say that after making someone else pregnant, Jayson?"

Hattiea uttered in disgust as Jayson only shook his head at her words repeatedly, denying the reality.

But it was too late to be guilty.

It truly was.

"Just let this one aside please, we are going to get married anyway babe. I promise I won't repeat the same mistake ever again!"

Jayson's continuous pleads only made Hattiea feel more pathetic with herself.

Marriage? Right the topic of marriage was nothing but an action of guilt. He was scared to lose her and that was why he was rushing everything all this time.

He just didn't want her to leave him after knowing all this.

If so, then what was he even planning to do with his unborn child then? Even thinking about the fact that he is a father now... to some other woman's child is making Hattiea feel sick to death to even be around such a man.

Jayson was always a man of responsibilities then how come he was running away from that now?

Such a coward.

"LEAVE ME, YOU SICK HEAD!"

With all her might, Hattiea managed to push Jayson away from her successful and ran out of his office before he could have even catch her up again.

And just like this, all her love for him replaced with hatred and disgust.

All her feelings for him are dead.

LAWRENCE'S HOSPITAL

His dark pair of cold eyes were wet and red as his both hands were holding the wrinkled hand of his half dead birth giver tightly, expecting her to open her beautiful pearly eyes and look at him again.

But there she was lying half dead... unconsciously.

Jordan Lawrence was the man of strict and powerful rule, he was known to achieve anything he chooses to achieve with his power.

But right here he was helpless.

He was freaking helpless for only one thing, he cannot help his mother but to watch her lying on the bed with the support of all those machines attached to her body...

The doctors had their heads down as they started feeling helpless themselves too while looking at the scene in front of them.

"Mr.Lawrence we tried our best but none of the donor's bone marrow matched your mother."

The doctor exclaimed with defeated tone while being sorry about the situation.

Jordan's jaw sharpened after hearing the news, he was angry while hearing the same news over and over again about continuous defeats.

Though his eyes never left his mother's pale and unconscious face, he gritted his teeth while speaking.

"Then try harder doc."

His voice was raspy and deep as he never tore his gaze from his mother's half dead figure, his words were enough to make the doctor's throat dry.

The doctor was scared but still held his guts upright.

There was no hope in this case. Not at all and he needed to inform Jordan that there was no use of getting his hopes high regarding his mother's recovery.

She was only alive because of the machines and once the machines gets off, she will be dead immediately.

"It's been 6 months Mr.Lawrence, we have been trying our best but we still could not any match for her, I think you should prepare yourself for the news sooner."

The doctor tired to convince the stubborn rude man who was also the chairman of the hospital.

Obviously the doctor was professional and very skilled with his patients, he really tried his best up until now but at this point it all seems impossible to them.

They were losing their hopes.

She was solely breathing with the support of the machines for all these months. It saddened Jordan to no limits to see her like that.

It wasn't anyone's fault if they could not find any match. He knew it well but he couldn't just sit quietly and do nothing.

It was his mother, his birth giver whom he deared to no end.

Jordan could not lose her, not at any cost.

"Don't make me do something you will regret later Doc, I am so sure you won't like trying me. I don't care about any fucking thing except her. I WANT HER UP!"

The entire ward was shocked seeing his sudden outburst. He was angry, angry on his own self precisely.

The nurse flinched and the doctor was intimidated by the behaviour of Jordan, his eyes were red and very dark since the start.

He looked scary to hear anything anymore.

"We will try to find more donors!"

The doctor sighed out in fear, compromising his efforts yet again before leaving the ward to him and his mother.

Spending some more time with his unconscious mother, Jordan took his leave before kissing her forehead in a loving way.

His mind was full of thoughts. His hand was on the steering wheel of his expensive car as he drove on the busy road without any care.

His mind was still stuck on his mother.

He has everything, nothing in this world exists that he wants and cannot buy. He can have everything with only a click of his fingers but the only thing he wants desperately is his mother back, living.

The only thing he can't do is to wake her up from her deep slumber. He was helpless for his mother, he cannot help her which made him feel pathetic and useless.

As his mind was still occupied with his mother's thoughts he couldn't see the green light of the traffic signal turning to red in no time.

Mindlessly driving, before he could have comprehended to the signal change... he saw a woman walking in front of his car without any care.

Jordan's eyes widened.

Coming back to the reality his panic rose as his grip on the steering tightened hardly and in an immediate reflex action he pressed the brakes in order to avoid the accident which was about to happen.

He wanted to dodge the accident but unexpectedly it was too late already to process anything, his body jerked ahead from his immediate action and his heart beat accelerated like he just ran some marathon.

"Fuck!"

Unbuckling his seatbelt he immediately opened the door and got out of his vehicle in a second to check up on the woman.

Crowd gathered as his eyes were directed towards the lying feminine figure on the road just in front of his car.

By the rare details of her, she seemed like a woman of early 20s wearing an office attire.

He went towards her petite figure immediately while squatting down to her level being panicked himself.

Did he just run his car over her?

Did he?

"Miss!"

Jordan's deep voice called her with nervousness.

Even the thought of hurting someone seemed one huge deal to him, he was never one man who could hurt lives.

"Miss, can you hear me?"

He tried shaking the woman a bit carefully but still got no response in return from her. Her long hair covered her face up, hiding most of her features.

Jordan was unable to see the woman's features and wake her up too.

Hence not thinking about anything else much he just picked the woman up from the ground in his arms and approached his vehicle with his quick steps.

He wanted to save her.
