The feeling of worthlessness one gets when they stop listening to their hearts was such a soul wrenching feeling...The same Hattiea felt at the moment. Her chocolate eyes were stuck out of the vehicle's window blankly as her hands were intertwined with one another, her mind spaced out everywhere but nowhere near the man who was sitting just next to her, driving quietly.No one spoke a single word. Hattiea tried to gather her self esteem bit by bit but it seemed like Jayson made a huge mess of her to collected her thoughts so easily. She had to obey his order at last... even if she did not want to.Why, you may ask?Well, because the man driving the vehicle at the moment was not just Hattiea's fiancé. He was once her everything. Their past was indeed not easy like others but yet it was very beautiful for Hattiea.He taught her many things...She too always supported him. Arriving at the event, Jordan could see the desperate commotion going on outside the venue. Reporters and press were recklessly surrounded all around their vehicle. Seemingly the scene did not surprise Jordan a little, he was quite used to it. Though the soundless hallway now no longer echoed the sound of the smack Hattiea just planted over Jordan's face being upright, but the pinching silence started crowding both of their respective spaces in no time.
