LARA'S POV

It was almost four o’clock in the morning by the time I finally returned to my my room.

Thank goddess Jeff and Dad haven't wake up yet, perhaps they're tired due to all the celebration from last night.

The sitting room is a mess and I wonder just how much they both drank and I'm sure the we would be spending the next day to clean.

But I was too hungover and tired to care at the moment, my head is too heavy to carry due to the activity at the hotel earlier and all the stress.

As I laid in bed trying to sleep, I was kept awake by my regrets. Had I just given my virginity to a near- stranger? All because I had a cup of tequila?

I had never been so impulsive like this, especially when it came to sex related things. Right now, I felt embarrassed and ashamed of this blunder. The guy was incredibly attractive and I stopped imagining him to be Reis the moment he bite my neck.

The alcohol must have taken more toll on me then, because I don't remember much about the scenerio when he bite my neck and as much as it was painful, I enjoyed it because his dick was still buried in my bossom.

Anyway... 'Forget this Lara. It's just a mistake I made because of Reis that cheater' I told myself and pulled the duvet over myself, without taking any shower and his scent still reeking all over me.

~~

When I woke the next morning, my head pounded and my stomach hurt from all of the alcohol from the night before. I groaned and rolled out of bed, get out of the messy dress and  stumble into the kitchen in the oversized t-shirt and shorts I just changed into. I just needed some coffee, it's January 2nd, I have to start the year decently anyway.

“You know, you could’ve at least told us where you went last night,” Jeff, my elder brother said from his usual spot at the kitchen. He was busy on his laptop as usual, a plate of chips and chilled coke beside him.

“Just went out to chill” I replied, my face turning red as I remembered what happened when I left home. "I got drank and slept off"

“Why didn’t you tell me you have a boyfriend and that you went to his house last night, Lara?" My dad suddenly said, emerging from our tiny bathroom with a towel around his groin.

My eyes widened in shock, "Dad, what did you know?"

"Don't ask us, he's came to introduce himself this morning" Jeff cuts in, finally exploding shock inside of me. Reis can come down to the extent of coming to tell dad and Jeff about us? Just to seel for my forgiveness?

Never! He's never getting it! I refuse to be used by a cheated like him.

I hung my head low as I poured myself a cup of coffee. I tried to hide it as the tears started to well up, but it was no use. Dad rushed over to me and wrapped his arms around me while Jeff watched with worry.

“I’m sorry,” I said between sobs. “I don't mean to hide it, Dad. I just don't want to hurt your pride and...."

"Who says you hurt my pride? You're free to do whatever you want, Dear" He patted my hair, and I can't help but sob on his chest. What if he heard about the mistake I made last night just because of my insane anger and uncontrolled emotions?

Will dad and Jeff still support me?

Later in the day, I sat in my room to study as usual, since that's all I'm good at doing.

Then Jeff banged on my door with all the force in the world that made me wish I could ban him from entering my room for life.

"What is it this time?" I fired angrily as I work on the algebraic equations before me. He sat down hurriedly and placed his laptop before me, I didn't look up, I just pushed it aside, "Did you see your celebrity crush with a man again?"

"You have to explain this first!" His voice was harder than I thought, he banged the table. I looked at him with confusion, "What's wrong?"

He gestures to the laptop and I slowly lift my gaze to look at it only to see a video of me, dancing at a party that seems like the party that's going on in front of Reis' house.

My eyes widens in shock as it finally escalated to the point that I was stripping! Damn when did I do all these?

Jeff banged the table hard again, "Care to explain?"

"Jeff, you sew this might be fake. You're a tech guy right? Help me look this up, I really don't do anything like this, I promise!" I cried wishing my brother could believe me at least, but my mind is in haywire now. I really can't gather the idea of seeing myself out here on the internet stripping, when I never done anything like that!

"You're sure?" Jeff confirmed again, as if he was debating whether to trust me or not. I fired him a glance, "Won't you also trust me, Jeff? You're my only sibling!"

"Lara, calm down..." He started, "Let me consult dad first. But this is already on the internet and the neighbors has seen it. I just need to confirm if you did this or not!"

Tears danced in my eyelids, is Jeff not believing me too?

I stomped out of the room in anger and flung myself into the bathroom before locking it from the back. With this now, then this years is not going to be any fun I'm pretty sure of that.

Thankfully, I had my phone with me and just as I thought of ordering something yummy, or some novels or textbook just to clear my mind, a text came in.

Not from everyone but from Reis, "Did you like my new year gift, honey? Anyway get back to school tomorrow, Professor Hale says we're resuming earlier as we're now seniors!"

My breathe caught in my throat and I wish I see Reis right now and strangle him. So he orchestrated this fake news just to do what exactly?

Another text came in again, checking it, he said, "The news could be taken down, Lara only if you concur to help me like before"

My phone slipped from my hand and fell to the ground. Cold sheer of panic rush through my spines and I don't think I've ever experience such shock before.

Am I getting blackmailed? Just now?

  • The Hockey Alpha and His Secret Omega   Chapter 67

POV: LaraWe left the outpost before the sun climbed fully above the trees. The forest glistened with dew, quiet in that breathless way the world holds just before it wakes. Each step away from the tower felt heavier, as though it resisted letting us go. I glanced back once—the stone walls were already half-swallowed by mist.Eren moved ahead of me, his stride sure and measured. He had tied the river stone to my cloak’s clasp, where it rested against the Seal. Together, the two hummed softly, their vibrations matching the rhythm of my heartbeat. I could feel the energy threading through the air like a quiet song.“Where exactly are we going?” I asked as we followed a narrow trail north.“To the ridge,&rdqu

  • The Hockey Alpha and His Secret Omega   Chapter 65

POV: LaraWhen I woke, the fire had burned down to embers. Pale dawn light filtered through the vines at the cave mouth, painting soft lines across the floor. Eren sat at the entrance, his back straight, eyes fixed on the forest beyond. He hadn’t slept. Somehow, I wasn’t surprised.“How long was I out?” I asked.“Long enough for the rain to stop,” he said without turning. “The river will be swollen. We’ll move while the pack is still searching the lower ridges.”I stretched stiff limbs and pulled the damp cloak tighter around me. The ache in my body felt deeper than fatigue—it was the pull of the Seal, restless even in quiet. Its faint glow brushed my throat,

  • The Hockey Alpha and His Secret Omega   Chapter 66

POV: LaraThe outpost smelled of dust and memory. The stone walls were streaked with moss, the ceiling patched by roots that had forced their way through cracks in the roof. Yet a faint warmth lingered in the air, as if the place still remembered the hands that once built it.Eren found an old lamp and coaxed a flame to life. Its glow chased the shadows into corners, revealing shelves lined with decayed maps, broken weapons, and the ghosts of another time. “This was one of the border stations,” he said. “Your father used it when he patrolled the northern woods.”I ran my fingers over a weathered table. The wood was carved with initials—some deep, others nearly erased. One mark caught the light: A + M. I traced it slowly, my chest tightenin

  • The Hockey Alpha and His Secret Omega   Chapter 64

POV : LaraRain blurred the forest into streaks of silver and shadow. Every branch clawed at my cloak, every root tried to drag me down. My breath came in short bursts, loud against the roar of the storm. Behind me, the horns still wailed and the sound of pursuit.I forced myself forward, splashing through puddles, slipping over moss-slick stones. The Seal’s faint light glimmered through the wet fabric at my throat, guiding me like a living star. Each pulse reminded me that I was alive, but hunted.Lightning ripped open the sky, showing the ridge in the distance—a black line against the pale horizon. I had to reach it before dawn. Reis had said the river lay beyond; safety waited there, if safety even existed anymore.

POV: LaraThe sanctum was built for silence. Every sound—my breath, the scrape of my palms on the floor, even the whisper of cloth—came back to me hollow and small. The walls drank light. Only the faint shimmer of the Seal broke the dark, moving across my skin like liquid silver.Hours bled together. I counted them by the rhythm of my heartbeat, by the drip of water somewhere beyond the door. Each drop sounded like a reminder that the world outside still lived while I sat buried under stone. At first I tried to speak to the guards through the slot in the door. No one answered. Later, I stopped trying. My voice echoed back at me, thin and lonely. When exhaustion finally dragged me down, I dreamed of fire again.&n

  • The Hockey Alpha and His Secret Omega   Chapter 62

POV: LaraMorning arrived with no warmth. A fog settled over the settlement, thick enough that the sun looked like a pale coin behind the clouds. From my window I could see movement in the square—wolves whispering in clusters, their glances darting toward the house where Luther and I were confined.A guard knocked once before opening the door. “The Council summons you,” he said. His voice carried no malice, only fatigue. No one wanted to be the one to touch the girl who glowed.Luther stood at my side as we walked to the hall. He didn’t speak. His silence said enough.Inside, the Council chamber felt smaller than it had yesterday. The Elders sat in a tight semicircle, their faces drawn. Elder M
