**Quinn’s POV**

“Frost Maple won again. Can you congratulate Grayson for me?” Dylan asked. He was on the phone with me right now.

Meanwhile, I was waiting for Grayson to come out of the locker room.

Grayson said that after this, he would take me to visit his mother. He also explained why he wanted to take me to meet his mother right away. It was because there were only two games next week and he would be less busy than the following weeks, which could have four to five games a week.

I couldn't refuse. I also didn't want to tire Grayson out if I postponed it to a busier week.

"Yeah, I'll tell him," I finally replied to Dylan.

"Oh well, as a gift, I'll cook for you guys. You'll be back here tomorrow, right?"

"Umm, sorry Dylan, but Grayson and I might not be able to come back tomorrow."

"Why? Do you have other plans?"

I played with my fingers that weren't holding my phone. "It's a personal matter. Actually, we’re keeping it a secret from everyone else, but I’ll tell you because you’r

**Quinn’s POV**I was relieved that Grayson had come to his senses. I was glad he hadn't gone through with his original plan. That eased my worries about the upcoming game a little. At least, I knew there wouldn't be any trouble at the rink started by Grayson. The problem now is Hanz. Since I haven't met him in person, I don't know what kind of person he is. So it's very difficult to guess whether he will stay quiet or provoke Grayson. "Thank you for thinking about it again, gray bear," I said sincerely.Grayson smiled sweetly. He also held my hand. "Don't thank me. Thank yourself for not giving up on me."Suddenly, Dylan separated our hands. "Guys, can you do this romantic scene somewhere else? Just don’t do it in front of me, please."I looked at him and stuck out my tongue. "You move."Instead of backing down, Dylan showed me the game stick in front of my face. "Look at this. I'm busy. It's time for the boys."Grayson smiled broadly. It seemed like he was defending Dylan. And i

  • The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist   115 Please Play With a Cool Head

**Quinn’s POV**“So what do I have to do to make you less upset, hmm?”I pushed Grayson’s head away from my shoulder again. I don’t know how many times I’ve done that. Grayson doesn’t seem to want to give up. He’s been doing it over and over again, from the moment we got out of the car to the lift ride up to his penthouse. He clung to me like a caterpillar."Quinny? Are you listening to me?"I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. I saw him in the reflection of the lift wall, staring at me with a pleading face. "You can ask for anything," he said again, still trying to persuade me.I remembered other news articles I had read. One of them said that we had deliberately chosen to go on a date there because it was quiet. Oh dear. I don't know if they knew the truth, which was that the restaurant was indeed unpopular. I also couldn't imagine if anyone knew that Grayson's girlfriend worked at the restaurant. Not as the owner, but as an employee. It would definitely be hot news and trendin

  • The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist   114 Lowkey

**Quinn's POV**I shook my head as Grayson got into the car. "Right, now what are we gonna do with all of this?"He just grimaced as he glanced back at the menus he had ordered, which were now on the back seat. "How are we gonna finish all of that if it's just me and Dylan eating?""We can give the rest to the homeless. You choose the ones you and Dylan like. How about that?"Grayson pinched both my cheeks. "Don't be angry."I sighed softly. "I'm not angry because it's your money. But we had to wait for hours for all those menus. You could’ve spent that time resting. I just… I just feel guilty.""Hey, hey, look at me."I looked into Grayson's eyes. But I couldn't for long because I felt like laughing. "There's still tomorrow to rest. The game is the day after tomorrow."Speaking of the game, I remembered Dylan's advice. But Grayson seemed fine. He must’ve already known who his rival would be the day after tomorrow. But he wasn't upset or giving any negative reactions about it. Gra

  • The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist   113 Love Is Crazy

**Quinn's POV**I glanced at Grayson to see his reaction after I denied our relationship.Honestly, I felt really guilty. But I also didn't want Anton to find out about my relationship with Grayson and tell Ema. I loved Grayson to the moon and back. But I also wanted the job I had worked so hard to get. "Oh, okay. I thought you two were dating. You look like you are. But if you're not, it's fine with me." After saying that, Anton went to the kitchen. Meanwhile, I immediately took Grayson to sit down. I smiled awkwardly and left him to finish my task and to clarify things with Anton. "Anton, I'm not lying. We are not dating," I said when I got to his side. "So please don't say anything in front of Ema about me and Grayson. I don't want to hurt her feelings.""Oh, that's too bad. Just so you know, I adjusted your schedule to Grayson's game schedule. I gave in because I thought I could make a couple in love happy. But it turns out I was wrong, huh? I thought you went to his games man

  • The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist   112 I Wanna Tell Everyone That You're Mine

**Grayson's POV** Okay, five more minutes and I'll go to that restaurant to pick up Quinny. Ever since Quinny gave me her location, I went straight here. I just didn't want to risk getting stuck in traffic and arriving late. I didn't want Quinny to wait. If I'm the one waiting, that's fine. But I also know better than to just walk into the restaurant. Instead, I'm waiting in the car I parked in front of the restaurant. That way, I can watch Quinn from here without disturbing her. I really admire how hard Quinn works to give herself and Dylan the best life possible. That's why I can't bring myself to forbid her, because she'd definitely be sad. So rather than making her sad, it's better to let her do what she wants. And I'll keep an eye on her.Honestly, I regret forbidding her to work because we had a big fight afterwards. I just didn't want her to get too tired, but at that time I said it very harshly. So Quinn got angry and almost didn't want to be my therapist anymore. Now I'm

  • The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist   111 Sweet

**Quinn's POV**I quickly answered Grayson's call once I was outside the restaurant. After all, I didn't want to risk Anton overhearing our conversation. It would drive him crazy if he found out I was talking to our boss's favourite ice hockey player. "Quinny, where are you?"I looked around before answering, "I'm at the chicken restaurant. Actually, there's something I want to tell you.""Chicken restaurant? Do you want to eat chicken? You can ask me and I'll definitely buy it for you."I bit my finger. "It's not like that. I'll tell you, but don't get mad, okay?""Did you meet Owen?" Grayson's voice rose. "No, no," I replied immediately. "I passed the interview. I gotta work again. Three days a week at a chicken restaurant near your penthouse."I anticipated Grayson's reaction by moving the phone away from my ear. But after a few moments, there was no sound, not even a breath. Curious, I spoke again. "Babe, are you still there?""Ah, yeah. I heard you. Congratulations, Quinny! I
