The tavern lady then apologized for being too chatty, laughing softly as she turned and went back to work. 

I gave Ether, Shila, and Garix a look, which fortunately they had understood immediately. After paying our bill, we exited the tavern and headed straight to the boatmen. 

In a few hours, the sun would disappear. The moon would shine its brightest glow. A new Luna would rise. 

It was far important and such a big news to everyone, but in the human world, the Uncrescent Land, stories of the mysterious serpent in the river was far greater to talk about. 

For a moment, I had almost forgotten about it. Ajax and Selene. The Moon Goddess would surely bless them. They were the perfect pair, after all. 

"Claire."

I felt Shila's hand on my shoulder, a concerned and comforting gaze on her face. I sighed, hiding my emotions as I smiled. 

"Let's go." 

This time, Ether was the first to step toward the
