I gasped. I had no words.

Maltilda had just delivered Amber’s so-called message, and none of it made sense to me. Even Sebastian looked shocked.

“It’s the Alpha’s orders. She cannot go against it,” Maltilda said helplessly.

I scoffed before I could say anything else. Sebastian ran off.
