It's been two weeks. Maybe that whole encounter with that dream guy wasn't real. First of all, I was way too calm in that situation, maybe I really am going crazy. Is that Koray? The wolf nods and I know. I still haven't moved from my spot and was searching through them when I spotted a familiar large black wolf with green eyes. He steps up from the group and his body changes. He winces as his body shifts from a wolf to a human being. I gawk at the naked sight in front of me. I'm drunk without drinking! "Get a shirt," I advise Xavion while hopping down the stairs, Python following. I jump over a few sleeping bodies to pour Python's food. He slips through everything and hops onto the counter. I pet my cat while he is eating and search for the biggest breakfast. I'll have to go to the supermarket. Grabbing my purse, I make my way for the front door, but someone stops me from behind. "Where are you going, sugar?" he whispers while snaking his arms around my waist and laying his head on my shoulder. "We need food," I whisper back to not wake the others up. It seems like something is bothering Xavion during breakfast, so I do the unthinkable and reach out to his shoulder to soothe him. He slightly jumps at my sudden action but quickly relaxes in my touch. "I'll talk with my colleagues on Monday," I whisper in his ear as he slithers his hands around my waist to hug me from behind. Xavion perks up at my statement and drops his head on my shoulder with a smile, clearly content with my words. "How about we all do something fun together to get to know each other? The town doesn't have a lot to do but I'm sure we'll come with something," I broadcast to the rest of the visitors. "I love that, otherwise I'll faint by being in such close proximity with my brother for much longer," Tasia speaks up as Jay takes another batch of toast. "I want to take vacation leave," I admit to Eleanor while we clean up before we go home."What?" "This is it," Xavion spreads his arms out to show the massive house hidden on an unregistered road behind the mountains. It's been a few days since the rogue appeared and between me and Xavion, we found a middle ground as to when to leave. "Woah," is all I manage to get out upon seeing the small thriving village, unknown to the whole world except for these very people who live in it. "It's nice, isn't it?" Royce suddenly speaks up, making me slightly jump at his appearance. "Sorry," he apologises upon seeing my reaction and Xavion pulls me to his side before I can respond. "They've already prepared an extra room for you," Xavion clutches my waist as he leads me to the biggest cabin. I wave to the bystanders when we pass them on the dirt road. I wake up to the sun's rays burning my face through the curtains. As I gain consciousness, clattering and movement can be heard and as the waft of food hits my nostrils, I realise what's happening. Breakfast. I groan into the pillow before throwing the duvet from my body. My body rolls itself out of bed and I wobble a few steps toward the bathroom before gaining enough control over my body to freshen up. A knock on the door makes me slightly jump as I finish pulling a shirt over my head. "Heard you're awake," Xavion's voice states from the other side of the door. I pull the door open with a smile and greet him with a "Good morning to you too." He chuckles under his breath and continues to wish me a good morning. "Yes, good morning. Do you want to come down for breakfast?" "Give me one sec," I hold my hand up before grabbing a pair of shoes and sliding into them. "Ah!" I exclaim in surprise as a werewolf toddler jumps onto my back while I'm sitting on the floor. "Jackson, wait!" I panic as he climbs over my shoulder and prepares himself to launch onto my lap. I try to gently catch him as he continues moving over my shoulder. We both plummet to the carpeted floor and I make sure Jackson falls onto me instead of the floor. I sigh in relief when I look down and notice Jackson laying on my stomach while giggling. "Jackson!" Maggie scolds the young boy from across the room, making him jump up while still in my embrace. He runs off without a thought and I'm left on the floor with my wind knocked out of me. Another face pops up above me, her long hair tickling my face. The 6-year-old-looking girl offers me a smile and I try to genuinely smile back, but I'm sure the pain is preventing me from doing so.
