Chapter 15: Sleepless Night

***There is an angry man sitting in front of a fireplace; his face wrinkled more than any other of his age. He slowly throws several pictures into the fire and watches them burn.

'Alpha, do you want me to reject or accept the invitation?' his Beta asks.

He keeps quiet for a moment longer, then nods. 'Accept it,' he says and his Beta rushes out of the room and makes the call.

'Maybe I can finish the job I started a decade ago… maybe is not too late to make it happen,' He thinks as a grin erases the anger from his face to give room for a mischievous smile. All he needs to do now is carefully plan what his next move will be.***

"I count four old council members alive in the country; three of them accepted my invitation, one of them has yet to respond. What about those in the neighboring countries?" I ask and Xavier brings up a list.

"From the old council, only 7 are still alive. Are we going to make a council with representatives from each country?" He asks and I shake my
