The sun shined as Zafira woke up with a smile. There was a time when she prefered to sleep other than to be awake, but today was different. Her life had been different since she came back home from the condolence visit in Karak. When she was a little girl, Zafira always wondered if her parents could hear all her conversations whenever she spoke to Richard, and because she did not know the answer, she was always mindful of whatever she said to him, vowing to take most of her darkest secrets to the grave. After the journey, her mother started to act differently. Zafira made sure she remembered every detail of the conversation she had with her mother the moment she came back from Karak. Everything felt like a dream to her and if it was a dream, Zafira wanted it to be a memorable dream. Her mother was about to exit from the palace entrance with her entourage when they all met at the palace door. "Welcome my children" The Queen peeped from the curtain of her carriage"Mother, Wh
Days, after Melnyk had made up his mind to head towards the city of Del. Melnyk, had sent a messenger to inform Del's castle of his arrival and a response was sent to him, welcoming him wholeheartedly. There was a thought in Melnyk's mind that had wished that his request got declined so that he wouldn't have to face lord Halalnik. As soon as he got the response from his messenger. Melnyk began to prepare for the long journey ahead. The journey to the city of Del was farther than he had expected, he spent two days alongside his beta, Peter the bulldog and some guards who all rode on their horses. They rode fast during the daytime and walked when the moon stood magnificently in the sky. Melnyk was almost quiet throughout the journey, thanks to his Beta companion who tried to ease the tension in his heart. Peter knew what was at stake, he knew this journey was mightier than it appeared to the guards that rode beside them. “This journey will go down in history as ou
Deep in the city of Helores, The humans had to come together to deliberate the misfortune that was happening to their people, they needed to tackle everything that was occurring, all the cheifs were available except Sir Erik who was the head of their military. He was always late to meetings. This was the fourth time that humans were victims of being hijacked and killed. The first time was in the woods, when two lovers had gone there to seclude themselves from the world and have fun. They were already intimate when they were attacked by wolves. The woman had given in and accepted her faith while the man tried to run for his life. Unfortunately, the wolves finally caught up with him and reaped his body into pieces. They were both discovered a couple of days later. All the remaining attacks happened to travellers, going in and out of Helores. The Human king knew that the wolves were trying to send a message, and he believed it was time to settle everything bef
Melnyk, Richard and Zafira had tirelessly struggled to come up with a plan to finish the humans. They hoped and prayed that the humans will be confident enough to come out and fight them in the open field, but unfortunately, their wish never saw the light of the day. They had situated spies almost everywhere in the kingdom of Helores, they had planned almost everything diligently, from provoking the humans by killing their species down to provoking them with a letter requesting for them to leave the city of Helores as they threatened the humans with war. Sitting down on a bench in front of the training ground in the castle of Del; Melnyk and Richard started to catch up on old times. They talked about how the whole family stopped to keep in touch with each other "Just imagine how life would have been if we continued to keep in touch like we use to do when we were young," Richard said "Would have been better than we are or maybe worse, either way, we would have bee
Drums, Flags, Soldiers, Archers, Friends, Guns, Families, Lycanthrope, Primordials, and Cannons were all present. Together they all held the great city of Helores at a siege. The gates of Helores were closed, it was going to be a herculean task to get into the city because of the water body that surrounded the city and the tall walls that guarded the great city of Helores. Executing their plans was not going to be easy but if they could pull it off, all of them would be extremely lucky as it will give the wolves a greater chance of winning the battle. The humans on the other hand were ready to defend the great city at all costs. They knew life would be different if they should lose the city of Helores. For that reason, they had banked on the walls and Sir Erik and his knights to protect them until the werewolves from Karak come to their rescue. King Desmond was certain that Baku would run to save her because he had made his daughter Astana write the letter, with her handwrit
Melnyk's victory over the humans spread through all the kingdoms like wildfire. Everyone had his or her opinion on how the humans could have defended the great city of Helores. But what nobody could change was the fact that the werewolves had taken back what was rightfully theirs. Melnyk's name will go on for generations to come as the conri that took back what his forefather had lost and in other not to lose what they had struggled for Melnyk knew what he had to do, he needed to re-edit the rulebook that would stand the test of time and to make this possible, he needed his supportive friends to assist him because he knew he could not do it alone. Everyone had arrived at the great city of Helores, Richard and Zafira were the first to arrive followed by Lord Baku. Lord Dormana was also present in the throne room."Welcome everybody and thank you for coming" Melnyk began to speak in his thunderous voice"Thank you for inviting us" they all chorused" Melnyk smiled and
Drums, trumpets, flowers, werewolves, Humans, and witches were all present in the helores castle, after a year since the great battle that gave the werewolves victory. Everyone had come together to see the great sage get bonded with his mate. The decoration of the venue was phenomenal, from the candelabra down to the balloons and garlands. Everything used to design this wedding venue was explicit. Its base was a square of blue cardboard representing a temple with porticos and colonnades and adorned on all sides with stucco statuettes standing in niches spangled with gold paper stars. The second tier was a medieval castlegateau de Savoie, surrounded by miniature fortifications of angelica, almonds, raisins, and orange sections. And finally, on the topmost layer – which was a green meadow, with rocks, jelly lakes, and boats of hazelnut shells – a little Cupid was swinging in a chocolate swing. The tips of two uprights, the highest points of the whole, were two real rose buds.
Years later, a lot changed in Zafira's life. The big castle of Helores was graced with the voices of two amazing boys, Turstin and Adelard. Zafira wished her mother was alive to see how Adelard had taken after her face. Adelard was how her mother would look if she was a male. She had passed away a couple of months after Zafira was mated to the great sage. Zafira still saw her mother in most of her dreams. The loss of Andriana was something she could not bear. Sometimes she wondered if truly the moon goddess cared for her. It made her question the saying that " The moon goddess was close to the Luna." She felt differently because how can her mother die a few months after her mating ceremony and her father passed away a year after she gave birth to her first son? By then, the world had stopped moving for Zafira, Her only source of Joy was the great sage and her child. She found a reason to smile when she gave birth to her last boy Adelard. It comforted her heart that he looked
