Selene

I needed time and logic to think.

I used to think having a driver and a bodyguard meant I was treated like a princess. But I realized it wasn't a luxury service at all. It was just applying the rule that you have to have an escort if you don't have your wolf yet.

Being a rare white wolf put a lot of pressure on the she-wolves in my pack, so we ‘aberrantly’ have a strict rule; no one can leave the pack unsupervised until they turn twenty.

Something was off.

When Emma left, she came by ear

Selene Mother’s eyes sparked with pride, but father’s face clouded with concern.Uncle Ronan walked through the door, “Alpha, Luna; if I may, I would like to accompany Selene on her task.”I raised my eyebrows, “Why? Uncle Ronan, I can do this on my own now. I have my wolf!”He nodded, “I know you can. But still, they are three big men. Coming with you is just a precaution, and I will only interfere if you ask me to.”I nodded. “Thank you, Uncle Ronan. I appreciate that.”Only then did my parents truly understand the situation's intensity.Mother sighed, “Very well. Walk us through your plan, Selene.”In my room, I carefully packed the clothes I would need, while Uncle Ronan booked a hotel room for one night.Gwyn severed the bond between me and HJ. When Rosie attended my birthday, I asked her to secretly get me one of HJ's t-shirts that had his scent; I missed him so much, so I asked for it to wear it when I go to bed.Gwyn needed three items to sever the bond; something that has h

We were all there; I was there. I guess this is my mother's way of teaching me what leadership means. She always said she would do the same thing if she were in Hunter's place, that an Alpha has to put the pack first. So, for my mom and dad to use Emma to punish me is not fair. But then again, as fair as they try to act, and as cunning as my mom is, my sweet dad could never say no to his beloved Agatha.I just turned twenty, and I hate it already. I liked Emma

EmmaWe ate light dinner, then drove to the bar after.I said, "Dan, sorry if I was mean to you, but you should have picked another place for us, not one you have been to with an ex.”"Emma, babe, I can’t apologize enough. I was looking forward to spending this getaway with you and completely messed it up," he replied in a soft voice.I nodded. "Let’s set some rules: no secrets, no lies, and we accept each other just the way we are."Dan smiled. "I love you just the way you are, baby.""The first time you tell me that you love me!" I whispered."I fell in love with you the second I saw you on that horse, Emma," he said gently.“This morning, I thought you were gone because you didn't like me!” I said sadly. He exclaimed, "WHAT?"He pulled over and gently held my face. "Baby, listen to me. I love you, and I loved our night together so much that it took everything in me not to wake you up this morning and make love to you all over again."I smiled. "Really! Then why did you leave?"", E

EmmaAfter reading Anna’s message, I went back to sleep. When I woke up again, Dan’s side of the bed was empty and cold. I called him in case he was in another room in the suite, but got no answer; even the bathroom was empty. However, his clothes were still in the closet, yet he was gone.Wrapped in the bedsheets, I sat in the same chair by the window where Dan had been last night. From there, I could see a building with a sign that read "Employees Office Entrance." People were still working inside even at this hour—meaning at night, everything inside would be even more visible.Where was he?Did he regret last night? Was I that bad that he left even before he could look me in the eye?I felt conflicted. After last night's intimacy, I thought it would bring us closer now that there were no more barriers. Yet I woke up to this sudden silence, all by myself, to see him gone. It made me feel cheap, broken, used, and pushed aside after I had served my purpose. But deep inside, I knew Da

EmmaThe night before, I got Alpha’s permission to skip training, as I was spending the weekend outside the pack with Dan.I have been called many names; street-smart, tough cookie, the fixer, but never girlfriend. Especially not by someone like Dan. His hot looks caught my eye immediately, but after we got together, I was attracted to how confident, protective, and kind he was. The list of reasons to love him just kept growing. Before this, we met to spend the day together, in the human world away from our packs, and head back at night. He took me everywhere; movies, museums, parks, and bars.On those trips, we ran into women from his past; women in their thirties who knew how to please a man and flirted seductively. Dan ignored them, but when one wouldn't stop and put her hands on his shoulders, he snapped, "Are you too drunk to see I'm with my girlfriend? We fucked once; now get over it and get lost!" Hearing him say that made me realize just how serious he was about us.We’d been

SeleneSelene wakes up in her own bed, her aching body wrapped in sheets while her mind battles between sudden fear and the thrilling memory of freedom. Torn between the terrifying reality of what she has become and a strong, undeniable hunger for the wild power humming in her veins.'Feeling alright?' Belle asked. 'The run was magnificent.'I smiled, though my body protested. 'At first, I thought I was losing my mind. I didn't want to show weakness in front of my parents and loved ones, or make Anna worry and get afraid of the transition experience for when her time comes.'I let out a long sigh. 'The running was amazing indeed, but all my muscles are screaming and aching.'Belle murmured in my mind, ‘The pain will reduce until it's gone completely; the more we shift, the less it will hurt. The panic will fade, but the run is your way to calm yourself, to bond, increase our speed and power, enhance our senses and clear our minds.’'I feel the woods are still calling,' I added softly
