LOGIN“Oh, God!” I gasped, holding on to the strong shoulders of the man currently on top of me.
I could only whimper in confused pleasure as he pistoned in and out of my body. The stretch was the most delicious thing I had ever felt. The slow roll of his hips set the perfect rhythm, hitting all the right spots.
How did I manage without this for so long?
How was I content with a relationship with Dylan for three years when he never gave me pleasure that came close to this?
But I didn't allow thoughts of Dylan to linger.
I couldn't, even if I tried.
I was too blissed out of my mind to think.
"You good?" he murmured, still thrusting without losing his rhythm, his large grip tilting my waist at an angle to get the perfect thrust that hits that one spot.
"Yes..." I moaned, "So good."
After a few more strokes, he hit a particular spot that made me spasm around him as I came on a silent scream. The orgasm was so intense that I blacked out for a few seconds. I only regained consciousness from the feeling of Dominic lightly kissing my temple.
"Don't fall asleep on me, gorgeous," He chuckled, obviously finding amusement in the fact that he was able to render a woman unconscious with one orgasm
"We're not done", He added silkily before flipping us over, so quickly I didn't even register it until I found myself straddling him as he sat up with me without breaking a sweat, his back against the headboard.
This display of strength seemed to knock out any feeling of exhaustion for my body, and to my surprise, I greedily sought out his lips with mine, biting his lips and sucking at his tongue as I looped my arms around his neck. He matched my passion, his right hand coming up to take a fistful of my curly hair, as his left hand gripped himself. He notched himself at my entrance, and I lifted my hips to give him access. In no time, I was gliding down that thickness until my lips touched his base, my arousal offering an easy glide.
I snapped my hips, and in no time, I was riding him, rolling and moving my hips to give myself maximum pleasure. I took control and set the pace, and for a few minutes he let me.
"Good girl", Dominic purred, before gripping my waist, suddenly controlling the pace.
“No Dom-” I started, but he snapped his hips up at an angle that made me gasp, cutting off my protests before I could voice them
I let him take control, and could only grip him tighter as I came apart for the second time that night.

After we finished, I wasted no time running into the bathroom to wash up. I came out and quickly slipped into my clothes while Dominic watched me quietly from the bed.
I put on my heels and turned to him.
“This was a one-time thing," I said firmly, slinging my purse over my shoulder. “So let's just pretend it never happened."
It's pretty difficult, considering we move in the same circles.
"Understood?" I asked.
“Of course," he smiled, draping his arm over a pillow. “I never go against a lady’s wishes."
Bullshit.
“Check-out is at 8 am," was my only reply as I opened the door and walked out of the room.
For the first time in years, I did the walk of shame, but I have to say, I feel no shame about my actions, so I think "the walk of contentment and satisfaction" fits better.
My heels clicked softly on the pavement as I walked down the hall to my apartment. My phone rang, Dylan's name flashing on the screen.
I suddenly remembered yesterday. His office door was slightly open. The soft moans of a woman and the deep grunts of a man I recognised as Dylan drifted out, and through the slight crack in the door, I could see him.
She was bent over his desk, and he was behind her, thrusting with abandon.
I tapped ignore, vaguely wondering why I hadn't blocked him.
I walked into my apartment and called Andreina the moment I kicked off my heels.
"I know you're going to be mad, but I did something very impulsive last night," I blurted out the moment she answered.
"Well, good morning to you too," she grumbled, though I could hear the smile in her voice.
"Do you want to hear what I have to say or not?" I pouted.
"Okay, okay!" she laughed. "What is it?"
"I had sex with Dominic Prescott last night, and I know I shouldn't have because it was reckless, and I only did it to get back at Dylan. Part of me also feels guilty because it was the best sex of my life..."
"You slept with Dominic?" She gasped, cutting my rambling off.
"Yeah?" I replied hesitantly.
"Oh, my God!" She practically yelled. "How was it?!! You have to tell me everything."
"Did you not hear the other things I said?"
"Oh, I did," she chuckled. "And I know what you expect, but I am not going to lecture you over this."
"If this is how you cope, so be it. Besides, it's good that you've finally gotten with Dominic."
"What do you mean by 'finally'?" I asked suspiciously, already knowing I was going to hate her answer.
"You met this man once months ago, and you've found every opportunity to bring him up ever since," she chuckled.
"I have not!" I argued.
"Yes, you have," she stated firmly. "Granted, it was mostly about how you thought something was off about him, but it was obvious you were attracted to him."
I haven't always been attracted to Dominic Prescott. I only talk about him because he was annoying and arrogant. Last night was a mistake, and it will never happen again.
But I didn't argue. Arguing would only make Andreina go full lawyer on me, trying to prove I was wrong.
“So...” she started, “When are you guys meeting up again?”
“Again?” I laughed. “This was a one-time thing. We are not meeting up.”
“And he agreed?”
“Yeah, he did. Why?”
“Oh, no reason,” she replied quickly, making me suspicious.
But I didn't call her out. I was tired of talking about Dominic.
I hated how he made me sound defensive, which wasn't like me.
After we hung up, I stood in the kitchen making breakfast, trying not to think about how agreeable he was to my request that we never see each other again.
My pride was wounded. I hated this.
My phone buzzed on the counter, pulling me from unwanted thoughts of Dominic.
But it was a message from an unknown number.
Last night was perfect - D
Dominic? How did he get my number?
And most importantly, why did I feel a frisson of excitement run through me when I read the message?
I stood with everyone else as Cara started her walk down the aisle, her hand resting lightly on her father's arm. I was anxious. Probably almost as anxious as the bride herself. Which, I guess, would be considered an absurd feeling to have right now, as someone who is in no way related to the bride, but I think it's normal for me to feel this way. I did spend weeks making that wedding dress, so you could say I had a certain amount of emotional and physical investment in this ceremony. I spent weeks with that fabric, so much so that it started to feel as familiar as my own skin. The white silk caught the rays of the sun. The ceremony had a gold-and-white theme that contrasted nicely with the late-morning sun's golden hue. The gown’s boned corset cinched her waist, its sweetheart neckline edged with delicate ruffles. The skirt swept down in heavy cascades of silk and satin, whispering against the stone floor with every step. It was beautiful but not too ostentatious. Cara cut a
She turned me down. And without even attempting to spare my feelings, I might add. Those brown eyes of hers seared into me without faltering. As usual, she's been all I could think about for the past week. Even during a board meeting, my mind kept replaying our conversation. I couldn't stop trying to relive that moment, to feel that look of defiance trained on me. By the end of the week, I realised that, contrary to what one would expect from a man like me, I wasn't irritated by her rejection. It was quite impressive, if I'm being honest. Darren suddenly appeared beside me as I studied the acquisition contract laid out in front of me. “You've been on that page for 30 minutes”, he said “Just making sure everything's perfect”, I replied absently “You are distracted”, he stated “I could clear your schedule if you need a break” “Stop with the nagging, Darren”, I said, irritation colouring my voice “Of course, sir,” He said, sounding chastised, “I'll be back for the contract
Steeling my shoulders, I strode into the garden at the Prescott family mansion.I grew up rich, so I wasn't new to luxury. However, the Prescott family's wealth was on another level entirely. The kind of wealth most people could only dream of.The garden resembled a scene from a fantasy film. Calling it a garden almost seems inadequate. I could spot some of New York's elite mingling, champagne flutes in hand, nibbling at food from trays held by servers stationed within arm's reach. It was like an enchanted garden party. For the first time in a long while, I felt nervous. Suddenly, I regretted accepting Cara's invitation.“Ahlia," a voice called. I turned to see Cara walking towards me, smiling broadly."You're here," she breathed. "Come, come, let me show you around. My parents are preoccupied with guests. I'll introduce you to them later.""You look beautiful," she added. "Is that an original piece?""Oh no. It's Dior. I got it in São Paulo a year ago," I breathed, trying to keep up
I spun my pen between my fingers, my head resting against the back of my seat. The sound of traffic below provided the perfect soundtrack to my mood, and the warmth of the sun filtering through the floor-to-ceiling windows of my home office lulled me further into thought.I should be working. Spex Corps was on the verge of closing an important deal. My assistant Darren, with his meddling and perpetually disapproving nature, wouldn't be pleased if he found out I spent the afternoon thinking about a woman who couldn't bear my presence. But by God, she looked excellent yesterday. Ahlia Maxwell was the most beautiful human I had ever seen. She was my undoing and the bane of my existence, but I had to have her. No matter the cost, I would pay it.I heard myself release a chuckle at the memory of how she turned up her nose at me, as if I were gum beneath those sexy heels of hers. She despised me, and it was thrilling. She was assertive, and would baulk at any attention from a man like me. I stood in front of the mirror in the office bathroom, inspecting myself. My outfit for the day was a two-piece set in shimmering pink satin. The blouse had a deep V-neckline with intricate lace trim delicately framing my bust, and the cinched bodice beautifully emphasised my waist before flaring slightly at the hips. The matching pink satin midi skirt swayed with every movement. On my feet were delicate pink sandals. My long, curly hair framed my face in lively waves, the dark curls contrasted nicely with the shimmering pink of my outfit. I chose it because it was a dress with the perfect balance of sultry and formal.Cara was my biggest client yet, and I had to look the part.A few minutes later, Meredith announced Cara's arrival. Cara Prescott waltzed into my office with the same confidence most New York socialites seem to possess. She was wearing a white button-down blouse with a tailored, vintage silhouette. A blouse I designed.Excitement welled up in my chest."Ahlia," Cara smi
Leah sat across from me, looking as regal as ever. She stirred her tea slowly, relaxed despite the tense atmosphere."He's decided on Mauritius", she said “For our honeymoon, that is. Burke said it's one of the best places to be in during winter”"Good for you," I mumbled, forcing a fake smile onto my face.Maintaining this facade of politeness when, really, all I wanted was to claw her eyes out. Eyes that looked so much like mine.Leah and I had different mothers, but it was still uncanny how similar we looked. The only difference was that she wore her hair flat-ironed and sleek, while I preferred mine long, loose, and curly.Leah and I also had vastly different styles. She had the polished, high-end style of a socialite, with statement pieces and sleek updos. In contrast, I had a more glamorous, eclectic style that bordered on racy. Dad said he liked her style better."Oh, and how's the little fashion house?" She asked “D'Orleans is doing well”, I replied wryly. “Thanks for asking
