Jade Pinkerton's pov

“You're tracking device can and must be removed immediately,” Senay growled in my head as I hugged Nikolai.

Looking up at him I told him what my Lycan had just told me.

“Let's head back into the living room so I can speak with Vernon,” he said softly, and I nodded.

“Have your mate cut it out for you. I can help you explain to him where it's located. They're tracking you and will arrive here at any moment,” Senay growled frantically.

Pulling on Nikolai's arm I told him that he needed to remove the tracking device ASAP.

“The hunters are headed here and I can not be captured,” I muttered sourly.

Eyeing me incredulously, he finally nodded and suggested that we find a bathroom for towels.

A doorbell sounding broke our haste and I gritted my teeth as I gestured for us to head back to my mom and Vernon.

We rushed back into the living room, and I blinked my eyes at my mom, who was passed out cold on the couch with Vernon cradling her head.

“Is she okay?”
