Unexpected Deaths At The Hospital

Dr. Ellen emerged from the kitchen and set both bowls of cereal on the dining table before making her way to the sitting room. Someone was lying on the sofa, wrapped up in a duvet from toes to neck, with only their head uncovered. Approaching the person, Dr. Ellen tenderly kissed their forehead. "Wake up sweetheart, it's time for dinner," she said, softly tapping them to rouse them from their slumber.

Clara groggily opened her eyes. "Dinner is ready," Dr. Ellen repeated.

"Alright, Mom," Clara replied, rubbing the sleep from her eyes with the back of her hand.

She was still feeling drowsy, but her hunger was outweighing her tiredness.

The mother and daughter silently enjoyed their meal of cereal at the dining table until Dr. Ellen spoke up, "The boys I saw you with, are they your friends?"

Clara took a moment to consider her response before answering, "Yes, they are." She kept her eyes fixed on her food.
