Clara was completely surrounded and had nowhere to escape. She was very far away from the school building, so nobody could possibly help her, even if she screamed for help. Clara was really scared as she realized she was at their mercy, but she wasn't going to let them see her fear, so she kept up a bold and courageous act.
“I don't have time for your silly games," Clara stated firmly, staring directly into Steven's eyes. "If you think I will be cowering in fear because of you, then I am sorry to tell you that you have made a big mistake, and you just proved to me that I am right about you alone. I am right when I said you were nothing but a coward!”
Steven was quiet for a while, and Clara decided to talk more. “And trust me, you are going to pay for what you did to that innocent boy. That's not a threat; it's a fact," she said confidently, hoping to intimidate him. Then she finished speaking and turned around, facing forward, resuming her trek, hoping she had talked her way out of trouble.
As she walked, however, one of Steven's boys was still standing in the way. She said a silent prayer in her heart, praying he wouldn't stop her from passing. She had nearly passed by his side when he stretched out his huge left arm, blocking her off. Clara's heart skipped a beat, but she kept on playing tough and in control.
“Will you get your arm out of my face?" she said in a threatening manner, hoping to scare him off, but he just stared at her like a lifeless zombie. Clearly, he only takes orders from his boss, Stephan. Clara turned to Steven's direction. “Tell your friend here to get off my path now!!" she ordered sternly, her voice carrying authority.
“Sorry, but I am afraid I can't do that," Steven said, then took some steps forward. “Seize her!" he ordered, and immediately Clara found herself being lifted and placed on a giant's shoulder.
“Drop me down immediately!" she yelled at him, struggling to break free. Steven laughed dramatically. “You should have known by now he only listens to me. You are not in charge here. I am! And I am about to teach you a bitter lesson you won't forget anytime soon," he grinned at her, then turned facing the thick bush. “Boys, bring her along," he ordered, and his minions disappeared into the trees, carrying Clara with them.
“Help! Someone help me! Please, anyone!" Clara screamed, and she kept trying to free herself from the giant's grip by hitting the back of the boy with her hands multiple times, but it was like he was immune to pain. He just kept walking.
“You can scream all you want. You see, no one will hear you, and nobody is coming to save you. You messed with the wrong guy," Steven said, taunting her.
Clara's tough act was long gone by now. Her face was like that of a scared little mouse that had just been cornered by a family of hungry cats. Her heart kept beating at an abnormal speed as they took her further into the woods. She kept wondering what they had in mind to do to her. Nothing like this had ever happened to her, and so many thoughts were flooding into her mind. Gang rape? The thought of them inside her was so irritating that she felt like vomiting. It was also very much scary, and she found herself screaming even louder for help.
“Drop her over there,” Steven ordered with a sneer, and his minions obeyed immediately. Clara was dropped down without any form of grace in it. Her head hit the grassy ground hard, and she felt a sharp pain from that.
“Tell me, what should I do to you?” Steven asked, his voice filled with sadistic pleasure.
“Please... let me go,” Clara pleaded in pain, her voice shaking.
“You know I can't do that. I will tell you what I can do, though,” he said, then took some steps closer to her, his eyes gleaming with wickedness.
His face was inches away from her right ear, and she could hear and feel his disgusting breathing.
“What's the problem, huh? Not so tough anymore, right?” he whispered into her ear, relishing in her fear, and smiled widely, showing all his white teeth.
He then withdrew himself away from her, turned his back on her, and pondered what he should do to her.
His three minions stared at Clara lustfully, and it was as if they were just waiting for his order to pounce on her and devour her....
Although standing up for Mathias had landed Clara into a serious predicament, she wouldn't have changed a thing if she had the power to reverse the hand of time. She would have done nothing different; she would have still fought for him.
That's her nature. She can't help herself from defending those she feels are being oppressed, but after this encounter with Steven, she might start to see things differently...
Steven finally turned and faced her. “Bring her to me,” he ordered, his tone laced with malice, and Clara was lifted by two of his minions.
They forcefully lifted her and made her kneel in front of him, both of them holding her down so she wouldn't be able to run away.
“Today is your lucky day. You are about to know what my d**k tastes like,” Steven said, and Clara felt like she was drowning, her eyes widening in horror.
There is no way in hell's name she will do that, never!
She tried to fight her way out, but then Steven grabbed hold of her by the hair of her head.
He pulled on it so hard that Clara felt like her hair was about to be uprooted from her skull.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhh!” she screamed out in pain, her mouth wide open, tears streaming down her face.
Just what Steven wanted. He unzipped his pants, and his huge rod came out, making Clara's eyes pop out in horror.
Steven was about to insert his d**k into her mouth when a thick, angry growling sound came from inside the woods.
It sounded like an angry wolf, and it gave Steven and everyone a fright. Clara had fallen to the ground.
“What was that?” Steven asked, quickly zipping up his pants.
“I don't know, but it sounded like a wolf,” one of his friends said, looking terrified.
The growling sound came forth again. This time it sounded angrier, and it seemed it was much closer to them.
“Let's get out of here,” one of his friends said, totally panicking.
Clara, on her part, didn't know if she should be relieved about this scary noise they were hearing. True, it was distracting Steven and his friends from doing all the horrible things they had planned to do to her, but this creature was also a threat to her life.
“Run for your lives!” Steven yelled, and it was like a scream triggered everything.
A big, huge white wolf came flying out from nowhere. It was the most terrifying creature Clara had ever seen, yet it was also the most remarkable.
Its eyes were blue, its gaze was piercing, its head was four times the size of a normal wolf, its teeth were long and sharp, and its claws left huge marks on the ground as it walked.
The creature slowly walked to meet them, snarling.
Steven and his friends took flight, running as fast as their legs could carry them. However, Clara didn't run; she couldn't. She was too scared to move, too frightened to stand up, so she just lay on the ground, watching as it came closer to her.
The creature drew so close to her that she was sure it would attack her. She closed her eyes tightly, anticipating the horrible moment when she would feel its sharp bite. Her heart was racing, and thoughts of all her loved ones played in her head like moving pictures.
Then she realized it was taking an awful lot of time for the creature to attack her. It hadn't even made a move yet. She slowly opened her eyes, but she was left shocked when she saw that it was no longer there. How come? Where did it go?
Did she just imagine all of that? She pondered, but then she saw a giant print the creature left behind on the ground, and it became clear she hadn't imagined anything. The creature was real.
She stood, searching around with her eyes for it, but it wasn't anywhere to be seen. It had completely vanished. But what if it comes back? Clara wasn't sticking around to find out. She ran out of there and didn't stop or turn to look back at any point until she got to the main road.
All the while, the creature was watching and following Clara from a hidden position until it saw she was safe. Then it turned back and started walking deeper into the woods.
It got to a point where the beast stopped walking. A male shirt, jeans, and sneakers were scattered on the floor where it stopped. then something remarkable occurred when the wolf-like creature started transforming into the shape of a man until he was completely transformed into a fully fleshly man—a teenage boy, really. He picked up the clothes and wore them, and a smile touched his lips before he sped off. Clara got home feeling really tired. She was scared and completely exhausted. Walking up to her room, she threw her bag at one corner of the bed and collapsed on it, still wearing her shoes. Immediately she fell asleep and went straight to the dream world. [ Clara's dream ] She kept seeing flashes of the wolf creature, its eyes, teeth, and long, sharp claws, its massive head and body. In her dream, the wolf was chasing her through the woods, and she tripped and fell to the ground on the root of a large tree. The creature ran to meet her, it jumped on her body with its mouth full
Clara just finished narrating to her friend Anna what had happened to her the day before, and how a wolf-like creature had saved her from the hands of Steven and his minions. She also made it clear that she was planning on reporting Steven to the school authorities and even goin further than that, reporting him to the government authorities. "I know you are really angry, and you want to make them pay for what they did to you, or rather what they wanted to do to you, but don't you think that's too harsh?" Anna said, clearly not supporting Clara's decision. "Harsh? You call standing up for oneself harsh!" Clara replied, almost shouting, which made the whole class, including the teacher, glance at their direction. "Keep your voice down, will you?" Anna whispered, her tone filled with concern. "Is everything alright, Clara?" Miss Jane, the biology teacher asked, her attention on Clara and Anna. "Everything is alright, sorry Ma, I just got a little bit excited, that's all," Clara said
Mathias stopped and turned to look at the principal. “Anytime you feel like talking, you know where to find me," Mr. Phillips said, then increased the volume of the TV set. Mathias left his office. Caleb helped Clara search for the creature she described in the books, but all they saw fitting that description were mythical creatures. “Werewolves? Are you sure about what you saw? Because everyone knows werewolves do not exist... Maybe because you were really scared that's why you imagined the creature to be that big. Maybe it's just a normal-sized wolf you saw," Caleb said, not wanting to believe in the existence of a werewolf. He is more of a science-minded person. “I know what I saw... I am not saying it's a werewolf or anything, but the creature was really big and large. That was no regular wolf," Clara said, trying to emphasize her point. “Okay. Maybe it's a bear then? Bears are known to grow really big," Caleb said, trying to find a logical explanation. “I think I am old enou
Meanwhile, back in the library... “Do you think Clara was serious about this werewolf stuff?” Caleb asked Anna, his tone conveying genuine curiosity. “Are you asking me? Because I really don't know. All I know is that she looked serious. I know I shouldn't be saying this, but I think Mathias is having a bad influence on her,” Anna replied, her voice tinged with concern. “I don't think it's fair to blame Mathias. Even the guy in question himself hasn't once said he had seen a full-grown, alive werewolf before. He always says someone told him or he read it somewhere,” Caleb argued, his voice calm and rational. “What do you want me to say? Because you don't expect me to believe she actually saw a werewolf!! That's just insane,” Anna retorted, her voice rising in frustration. “I know, I know...but she doesn't seem like someone who was lying. Maybe, just maybe, she saw a creature that matches her description,” Caleb said, his tone thoughtful. “Don't tell me you are believing this fair
“Yes...she should be here by now,” Clara said, and all of a sudden, thoughts of what happened yesterday when her mom didn't show up flooded her mind. She didn't want a repeat of that. “Hey, you!” a familiar voice came from a distance. It was Anna, and Caleb was with her. “You just left even before the game ended. Should I be worried about something?” Anna said, furrowing her brows and directing her question at Clara but giving Mathias a mean look. “Everything is fine. Mathias was just helping me with what I discussed with you guys earlier in the library,” Clara explained, her voice hesitant, betraying her unease. But Anna simply dragged Clara away by the hand, leaving Mathias and Caleb staring at each other. After moving some distance away from the boys, Anna began, “I don't care how you will take what I am about to say, but I just have to say it.” “I don't understand what you're saying,” Clara said, looking lost and confused. “I think Mathias's craziness is starting to rub off
Dr. Ellen emerged from the kitchen and set both bowls of cereal on the dining table before making her way to the sitting room. Someone was lying on the sofa, wrapped up in a duvet from toes to neck, with only their head uncovered. Approaching the person, Dr. Ellen tenderly kissed their forehead. "Wake up sweetheart, it's time for dinner," she said, softly tapping them to rouse them from their slumber. Clara groggily opened her eyes. "Dinner is ready," Dr. Ellen repeated. "Alright, Mom," Clara replied, rubbing the sleep from her eyes with the back of her hand. She was still feeling drowsy, but her hunger was outweighing her tiredness. The mother and daughter silently enjoyed their meal of cereal at the dining table until Dr. Ellen spoke up, "The boys I saw you with, are they your friends?" Clara took a moment to consider her response before answering, "Yes, they are." She kept her eyes fixed on her food. "Hmm," Dr. Ellen sighed. "What?" Clara asked. "Nothing, it just seemed like
Originally once an Alpha is killed, their strength is transferred to the wolf that killed them, thereby making that wolf the next Alpha of the pack. However, this only works when the wolf that kills the Alpha is not an Alpha themselves. The wolf must be either a Beta or Omega wolf. If an Alpha wolf kills another Alpha wolf, the strength of the dead Alpha won't be transferred to the other Alpha or anyone else because the wolf already has alpha power. However, Lucian loved the feeling of having such strength. He loved it so much that he made an arrangement with Night Sisters, three witches from the pit of hell, who gave him a ring that enables him to do the seemingly impossible thing. He was the only Alpha who could steal other Alphas' power and add it to his own. Therefore, Lucian hunted many packs, killing their Alphas and adding their strength to his. He became more and more powerful with each Alpha he killed, and his strength, power, and respect kept increasing, as did his territo
"I know, but under the guidance of our parents, he wants me to be under his wings as his Beta wolf. His... Mano beta," Adams explained, sounding frustrated and helpless. "What? But you are still a minor... That's against the rules... Is that even allowed?" Noah said, looking shocked and concerned. "Why don't you tell him that? You should have been there with me. Trust me, there exists no scarier sight than what I saw in there," Adams said, then turned, walking to his car, feeling angry and defeated. They both entered the vehicle, and Adams ignited the engine, feeling hopeless about his future. "So, if I get this correctly, this means this would be your new home from now on until you die?" Noah asked, although he knew the answer to that already, feeling sad and worried for his friend. "That's how it's looking like," Adams said, feeling resigned and unhappy about his fate. "What about school? Basketball? Ella? And me? He wants to take your life away even before you get to live it!"
